- In Episode 2, Aiden talks about cementing himself as a first-team Celtic player while having a strained relationship with the manager Gordon Strachan.
He also talks about some of the brilliant characters he played with including the enigmatic Tommy Gravesen as well as discussing his experiences when it came to playing in football's top stage, the Champions League. - Sport
I remember watching football on the bbc when Aiden first made his breakthrough in the Celtic team, might have been Football Focus. Strachan was on it with Mark Lawrenson, the host asked Strachan about McGeady and Strachan said "finally Scotland produces a good skillful player and he goes off to that lot", meaning the Republic of Ireland. Lawrenson, a former Republic of Ireland player himself told Strachan to "behave". Maybe that had something to do with the way Strachan treated him
All that stuff about Graveson is class 😂
driving up the wrong side of the rood with his finger oot the windae hahahaha!
Best one yet Simon. First time I'v seen McGeady come out his shell. This channel will only grow with this kind of content.
Aiden was my hero hen I was in junior high school. I loved his explosive runs and dribbles on the wing
great to hear all these stories.aiden seems like a decent guy.fitba players have changed so much from even ten years ago.
Great work as usual. Really good to see an interview like this from McGeady!

Hi Simon. I'm sure you've considered it but would be brilliant if you could arrange an interview with Chris Sutton and/or Neil Lennon!
Brilliant interviews Si! Need more and more regularly!

If that is all true, that's fucking shocking from Strachan the way he treated him.

Shame McGeady couldn't do it at Everton. Miles better than Iwobi
