The ingredients are a little bit different but how it's made and how it looks is almost the same as Pişmaniye.Pişmaniye is a turkish dessert,also called floss halva.It's delicious,you should definetly try it if you visit Turkey.I would love to try dragon's beard candy but I think I'm too impatient to do it myself :)
I remember getting these at the Peak in Hong Kong from an elderly man with his little cart. Was so mesmerized watching him do this so quickly! The lump of sugar would turn into these light as air threads!
