    Saw this watch last weekend. Almost got it if the hands weren't so hard to see. Instead I walked out with the Aquis Upcycle

    my next grail that dial is gorgeous. I love that it’s no date as well I’m hoping when that day comes the bracelet will fit my wrist since there isn’t any micro adjust but it’s stunning

    Pretty sure this works like a butterflies wings. The microscopic grooves/valleys don't let certain wavelengths of light escape so you only see the reflected wave lengths. I whish they would have attempted something more interesting than just a horizontal gradient however. Like maybe laser in a pattern or something. Or made a waffle texture dial with different sizes of valleys lasered onto the vertical portions of the waffle.

    I like it. Love the way the color (or not color?!) looks on the titanium. It's a masculine looking way to bring some flair into the collection. I like this watch in general. I'd go black dial or white dial or whatever this is called. Very cool.

    Bruce my man, I’m a subscriber & appreciate your reviews. However, the techno farts at the intro…hmmm another sound might be more appealing. Just saying. Happy Sunday! ✌🏻

      Exceptional Dial here … 🤗

    The markers on the dial seem to be slightly raised as well compared to the other pro x's. But take away the date complication...yeah....that premium isnt justified as much.

    Cool piece. Did you notice anything wonky going on with the minute or seconds hands while setting the time or pushing back in the crown?

    • @drbobsnightmare2521
      @drbobsnightmare2521 Před 4 měsíci +1

      Slightly back wind your crown, not enough to move the hands backwards, before pushing the crown in. This should avoid any problems.

      @BruceWilliams  Před 4 měsíci +2

      No, if you set the time by backpedeling slightly you avoid the occasional jump found in some calibers from Oris and Cartier. It's become standard for me

    Even one is reviewing the same watch at same time. Or same week. Or maybe it’s just me and I look up all the watches I really like ! Lol. But either way. We get a lot of different perspectives. That’s pretty cool. Love all of it. And I learn so much.

    Great vid and watch Bruce. That dial is innovative and gorgeous. I have the blue dial, and absolutely love it. I also have the Calibre 400 Aquis. My two most comrotable watches on wrist are the Pro Pilot X and Longines x Hodinkee Zulu Time, both titanium.

    Very interesting dial, I feel the dial is not worth the premium for me. Great watch overall.

    They couldve put a white dial with lumed indices and a chronograph for this "pilots" watch but no.

    I really don't know who buys this. When will Oris put a decent dial in this model?

      Years ago, I remember a very frustrated voter in Washington DC complaining about George W. Bush being elected 43rd president. The voter said something like: *_"I don't know anybody who voted for him!"_* 4⃣3⃣
      *This watch looks good to somebody, but not to you. All those flowery coloured towels for sale at the bathroom store, or bright yellow performance cars with black wheels and hood scoops, appeal to somebody.*

      I'd buy this if it had better ARC. This is also the reason why I never bought an Explorer I, a model I really.
