I am so happy to hear that you have noticed the measurement discreoancy as well. I wasnt sure whether to go by my bottles or the flask. Will just stick to my bottle measurements for now

Best way to use this is boil the kettle and let it stand for 30 mins. Then add some of the boiled water to the sterilised baby bottle and mix the formula like a hot shot of formula. Pour the remaining boiled water necessary for your feed into the Nuby and once it’s cooled add it to the baby bottle sufficient to the required amount of ml/oz of water. This way your Nuby remains sterile.

Do you have to keep the rubber part on in the lid? I’m just wondering because you can take it off but I’m not sure?? My lid just stays green and doesn’t change colours! 😩

So does it always work immediately? Or could you say measure out your hot water into this to take out with you, add the powder when you want to feed and only then press the button to cool it down? That's the only thing I don't get about it. And if the cooling process starts immediately every time, then does it actually stay hot long enough to potentially sterilise the powder? I suppose this is less important if you are feeding immediately, but it is a bit misleading if they claim it works to guidelines but it's actually having the made up formula dropping temperature too fast.

      Hi,
So the cooling starts immediately - I do powder first then boiling water because I wasn’t sure if the water would cool too quickly, so this way seemed better.
When I use it out and about I either get boiling water when out (from a cafe etc) or take a flask of boiling water with me. They do sell a set with 2 rapid cools and a boiling water flask - the rapid cool lid is interchangeable and can tell you if the hot water is hot enough too, which is really clever!
Usually I’d just use ready made in all honesty, but with my first son, he was on prescription formula and there was no ready made option. I found going out so stressful, so this would have been super handy!

Do you have to rinse with cooled boiled water after cold water sterilising or just leave it to drip dry? I cant seem to find an answer anywhere

I just drip dry, which is what I do with the bottles, but cooled boiled water would work 😊

Hi ! How do you sterilise it because i really cant avoid the expensive uv steriliser

We had a Milton cold water bucket, then did Milton tablets - much cheaper option :)

So how many times can you use it?

We use it every feed, once we've used it to cool his milk down, we wash it right away and put it in Milton and its good to go again after 15 mins.

@@carseatkat hiya..I've just ordered one that's coming tomorrow, but it says to wait 3 hours before using again between feeds? Does it still work then if you need to use it before? X

@@michellerichardson3224 Hi, yes I’ve used it sooner when I hadn’t washed it right away and it worked fine
