the "fanservice" part of it was really distasteful for me. Maybe that's what OVA's are for?

This is how i make fried rice
And mine is the superior. *Fight me*
First you fry garlic using butter (you can also use chili oil or just regular oil)
let it become brown for a while
add vegetable of your preference (bell peppers, onion, carrot, corn, mushroom usually i add these)
add the beaten egg and rice mix it well
then add a little amount of both light and dark soya sauce
cook it well and then garnish it with spring onion
And Its done
Judge that INO
Imma judge it. Using butter early means you can't cook it at high enough temperature without burning those butter up. Using neutral oil would be better if you want that smokey taste. Using chilli oil is also recommended to be used in the end or else the flavour of the rice would be bitter. Frying garlic until brown is acceptable but you need to control the temperature if you don't want to have bitter fried rice. Also, it's better to add white pepper at the end since it would give nice touch to the soy sauce. If you want to add butter or chilli oil do it at the end of cooking so the butter taste don't died.
The rice has got to be day old and refrigerated for that loose texture, also it is probably better to use a higher flash point oil to cook then add the butter later for the buttery flavor but crispier everything.
So no one gonna talk about how delicious the food are??
As a cook myself, I'm absolutely certain Shirogane has the best fried rice. The way he cooks it is similar to how professionals do it. He even uses a wok and does the wok toss!
