  • I start the episode working with the Soybean crop. They have been getting too much light, so I adjust the IC chip and reduce the amount of light they get per day. I then start on the main task, which is increasing the amount of passive cooling going into the Stirling Engine room. I decided to go with Large Extendable Radiators to radiate the heat outside, but that means we have to tear up our current radiators because our new ones require a liquid pipe network. As such I also print some Medium Liquid Radiators to absorb heat inside the Stirling Engine room.

Hi . Like your content. And I noticed a bubu in stirling room. The radiator you have there are for vacuum. In a adder movie you said that you needed atom radiator but you mix I up.

I'm glad you like it, I'm a little surprised how many people are watching. I don't know how I didn't notice that radiator before, I could have sworn I set up a Convection radiator in there. Either way, the one that you saw is a gas based one, I'm replacing it with liquid variants. Good catch :)

And if you release the out put gas from stirling engine straight out you will get more kw is my experience. The loop you have now is great for cooling stuff down and getting free kw for that . But for pure kw you get more when release it straight out . Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, you're correct, I'd be getting a higher kW out of it if I just vented it, but I've reached the point where I want to cool the gases down so I can use them in the base. Off screen I've created an IC script that will handle this :)
