  • This is what its like to live with and own the 2024 Hyundai Elantra N. It competes with the Civic SI. I think it might be one the best sporty sedans that money can buy.
    The Elantra N is one of the best looking sport sedans that you can buy. It also sounds really good it was easy to live with since it can be loud and fast but also just drive like a normal Elantra. To me I would spend my money on this instead of a Civic Type R or the Civic SI because with the Elantra N you get most for you money.
    We had a really good amount of room on the inside despite the the car not looking too big. My favorite part of the inside was the those racing seats they were comfortable and the N logo lights up when you open the door or lock the car. We even had some ambient lighting which was a small but nice touch. There is a lot of plastic but the Elantra N drives so well you won't really care about that side of things I loved my time with the Elantra N so much that I actually want one myself.

    Yeah, that does look good at all black! I’m not really a black car person because it’s a bitch to clean them all the time, but that one looks spectacular!

    I have a 23 and it's funny how cameras do not capture how loud the pops are. In videos, they sound like light crackles, but they sound more like gunshots irl if you rev it high enough haha.

    Great review! I’ve owned my ‘22 EN DCT for over 2 years and 32k miles now and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. If you are a manual lover, definitely get the manual. But if you need an auto (I needed one so my wife can drive my car when I need her SUV) then the DCT will blow your mind how good it is. Like the auto rev match in the manual, it just makes the best blip crackles and pops when downshifting. And of course the NGS button is an absolute riot how fast and firm the shifts get. The 10hp isn’t really that noticeable, but the shift aggressiveness definitely is. This car defines the segment of fun affordable cars. Cheers!

      My wife said she might be onboard for one if we get the DCT so we will see what happens!

    Buyers BEWARE, We have a 2021 Veloster N. We love it, we've had no mechanical issues. However we have defective Paint, It is well in its legal rights to be repaired but Hyundai refuses to fix it. Even though it's still covered under its 3 year paint warranty AND it hasn't been voided because the cars been under 36,000 miles. We've been fighting them for over a year, and if they won't help you with paint (keep in mind ONLY the hood) GOOD LUCK having them warranty their 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Cause your car will be sitting there dead for like 2+ years considering we've fought them for a year on paint.
    It's such a cool car and it's a shame, If you purchase one don't plan on its warranty. Still, to its credit. We love the car.

    I don’t think it really competes with the Civic SI, I mean maybe a bit based on price but not performance - more the Type R, WRX, GRC. I have a 23 and it fits such a weird niche. It smokes most cars its price point (GTI, SI), and is only slightly behind the next step up in performance but at a cost that’s easier to swallow on a FWD economy performance car

  • @jessicaphoenix1312
    @jessicaphoenix1312 Před 26 dny +1

    The car is great and the fact that a tune, sparkplugs, and 93+ octane gas can get you to 300-320 whp is nuts. A pop and bang tune can make it so obnoxiously loud that you turn the active exhaust off altogether.
