Deepika (Mastani) is in love with the King but he is already married to Priyanka. So she became his concubine but their love is rejected by the King's mum. Priyanka is the poor queen who have to accept the fact that his husband has another lover. i just want to share few things about the Place here.. it was a historical movie about a ruler Peshwa Bajirao... The set is original no visual effects at all. made and decorated with completely with "mirror" as in the original history.The real palace is located in pakistan now(which was a part of India) at that time... the Director recreated it absolutely. If you watch the slow motion at last you can get clearly.
I suggest you watch "Pinga" from the same movie. Its outstanding! Plus if you notice how beautiful and sexy the women look whilst they are still covered from neck to ankle; which makes a change these days.
