@emanu4990, it's your right to curse these bunch of Soulless demon's in Human forms that called themselves Nigeria leader's but claiming that Cameroon has better road's than Nigeria or better than Nigeria is an insult to our beloved country Nigeria and adding to the insults of these demon's, I was in Cameroon for two months this year because my woman is a Cameroonian, electricity over there do go off every now and then but not like it often does in Nigeria, that's true, the road's over there are worse than in Nigeria, there was a day we went out and it rains that day" we were held up for Hours because all the roads were flooded, things are more expensive in Cameroon than in Nigeria especially food stuffs and the reason is because Nigerians are into more farming than the Cameroonians, my monthly internet bundle cost 20.000cfa and still wasn't sufficient, Orange network, I paid 10,000cfa for my Canal plus subscription for channels, I do not want to give all details here but I spent money when I was there!!!

Not everything you know about Cameroon. There is good road network and stable electricity in Nigeria too. It may not be 100% but at least, there's improvement.
Maybe you reside in their capital city.
Even the water the government supply is borehole.
South Africa that's advanced than Cameroon uses borehole water and waterboard from the government.
Same here in Abuja, there are waterboard that supply water to some districts of Abuja and there are some houses that have borehole.
In Lagos, Enugu and some other state, there are waterboard that supply water to some residents of the state.

I remember Corn-fessor Soyinka and Bakare visited Buhari within months of taking his oath of office over eight years ago he collected his brown envelope showered Buhari with glowing tributes went home and kept mute for eight years while Nigeria was run aground. He said nothing while the fulani herdsmen decimated his kinsmen in their farms, which led to the rise of Cheif Igboho the defender of the yorubas. Now he has come back to collect another brown envelope for another eight years.
I had respect for him during his NADECO days when he fought the Abacha regime to the end, but nowadays he is just lining his pocket and peddling influence in the corridors of power.
They say wisdom comes with age and greying hair but now I know better that money is a respecter of nobody, and that money can make and old man dance naked in the market square.
Since 1999 we have been ruled by "old or older" men and in this period China has grwon to be the second largest economy in the world. The Asian Tiger (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore) have grown in leaps and bounds. Now can someone tell me what we have acheived in Nigeria apart from so far delaying the inevitable which is a civil war

True Federalism and Resource Control is the way forward in achieving a sustainable and equitable development for the regions in Nigeria.

What Soyinka said, maybe unwittingly is that he does not criticise Nigeria presidents in their first year in office because each one has to start over from ground level, usually, even below ground level. Considering he has known all of Nigeria's past presidents and each one had to start from below ground level is a shameful indictment on the quality of leadership since independence. A succession of thieves, raiding the national budget and becoming filthy rich in the process. While the country falls further behind. He should not be friends with such crooks.
