I love how Prof Wole Soyinka sees humanity, living and the world. He is just, to me, a wonderful man.
Unfortunately his vision about humanity is not the same in his home country.
It's sad there are fewer number of thinkers like him in Africa than we really need.

Wake Soyinka is speaking the truth and we have to ask ourselves..How can we worship the same god our oppressor and colonizers worshipped?. Aren't we all God's children? Where was he when France was assassinating our African leaders who really wanted the best for us?. Where is our father now as Africans are being brutalized in Libya or beheaded in Saudi Arabia? Hmm?
What about the DRC being ravaged by the Ebola virus, where was Christ?
Where was Christ when minions of the UN went into Kenya and sterilized 500,000 black girls?

Before you come preaching to me about the "love of Jesus". You must first show me where and when he has ever shown us love. How and why should we crave love that has never and will never be given to us.

For most of my life, I was completely disillusioned about region until early 2016 I had a powerful vision and God revealed to me the essence of Human creation, the reason for it, as well as the expectations. Religion is primarily a tradition and spirituality is a personal relationship with your God. I spoke about my Visions in three videos I put on CZcams titled God spoke To Me 1,2 and 3. Jesus Christ came and changed the religious laws of Moses, and taught only love and self realisation. He said God is love and is inside of everything, also if god is in you then you have no limits as to what you can do...Jesus couldn't teach freely as he could be prosecuted so he taught the in parables.... The day he said it as its he became a target 🎯 for the religious leaders. He said I and the father are 1 and I'm the son of God.they knew if this guy continued his ministry they won't get the financial and status benefits they do have that time.we are created in the image of God and we are children of God..that gave us the privilege to do whatever we see fit,hugly intellected than other creatures but same as all creature.like I said God is love and it dwells within you.if you have God/love in you then you won't be able to hurt a fly talkless of your fellow human being. If You realise the God in you,you'll do no wrong, you'll only spread love unconditionally without seeking for love from anyone since you are the manufacturer.... God is love, he gave us all the wonders of the world without charges.... The only the we owe is our flesh, our body is a loan given by mother earth and we must pay back when she asked for it..theres nothing better than paying that loan consciously and with gratitude... Tick tick says the 🕒 with every breath you exhale you're paying your dept until the very last breath, why not make the most out of life by realising the God in you? Liberate your mind and then exist here on earth gracefully.

Nobody has the authority or the gift of infinite knowledge to call spirituality benign. I understand people taking issue with the way religion is organised and the conduct of the people who follow it, but is not something that can be completely discounted from the human experience in such a flippant way.

Waooo what a talented being. Some of his views is more on theocentric psychology. Free positive thinking without the complexity of religion. The human is microcosmos and actually need any religion. Every thing is present in humans with little development they can create or achieve anything. The religion was brought by unseen beings to slow the scientific development of humans. Religion don't profit the followers but only the leaders.
