I like the drum in the background, idk why. It's just- I love 2005 versions they're just so "raw" I guess I'll say? I really love both versions of all of these songs, and it's somewhat refreshing to hear different versions that aren't specifically covers, just older versions/drafts. New and old, both great in their own ways.

This may sound weird, but comparing this to the newer one, it gives Kids Bop energy in the first part. It’s all just a certain upbeat, it sorta loses that Kids Bop vibe later on.

Any physical release of MMMM after 2005 and before 2008 should have these versions, sadly I don't think you can officially purchase them digitally anymore

just some things i notice here: voice isn't as deep honestly seems more faster pace or has kinda an extra beat a few extra oo-oo-oo's in the background at 0:42 to 0:51 1:36 to 1:39 the "going twice going thrice" kinda has an extra voice, idk how 2 explain 1:50 the background voice that said "dont shop around" is a lil quieter, along with a more noticeable guitar 2:10 the extra voice sounds a lil more robotic? idk if thats the word but ye
i had to stop the video as soon as they started singing because ive heard the newer version so many times i thought i was having a stroke

i think the reason this is more "boppy" is because it's (pretty sure) in swing rythm, and the drums sound jazzier.
The later release of the song is in the same light swing rhythm, but the faster speed and extra drums just make it much more pronounced in this one
