Villeseque is a charming village and less than 5 k from my village where I have been living since 2007. While most of these villages are small, they are a haven of tranquility ensconced in nature and minutes from the beaches of the Mediterranean. For me, the Corbieres it is a perfect fit.

Another great video! So to confirm, anytime someone buys a house or a condo in France, there will be 8% closing costs? Are you able to do a breakdown of those costs (which are mandatory like taxes, vs which may not be required if you do something yourself)? Thanks!
I would be apt to actually want in a small village than a more touristic place. If there is a market, any water nearby and biking- all good. I bet with the right marketing you can pull in renters- especially those who want the quiet immersive experience.

That house is gorgeous!! I understand thought that it wouldn't attract enough people frequently enough seeing that it's somewhat remote. My husband and I are looking to purchase a piece of property as well. We're planning a trip to France sometime this summer so we're starting to just poke around to see what we can maybe find before we leave, you know. We live in Quebec city and my husband is french , so that will make some of the paper work easier...or at least we're hoping..lol.The french do enjoy their paper work...lol..This was a great video and I'm looking forward to the next one 🙂 Thank you!!
Thank you for your kind note :) It was also just a bit out of our price range, but I'm still thinking about it! I hope being French helps with the paperwork. Luckily, I have European citizenship so that makes things easier for my husband and I.
@@evavoinigescu oh I'm sure that will make it easier for you ! We're planning a trip this coming July so maybe we can plan to take a peek at something whilst there you know. We'll see..lol..My word for the year is " Jump". So making a purchase of property in France would be considered a JUMP I think..lol. Just gotta wrap our heads around the idea ...lol
