- Beside request from our viewers, we also want to share with our audience other 3D steam locomotives from different countries created by different 3D artists. We found tons of very well made steam locomotives and rolling stock of Japan on the Trainz download station (DLS) but it is not easy to find an America mainline steam engine with TE lower than 30,000lbs for a race.
We can't find the technical data or the Japanese D51 2-8-2 (*Narrow-gauge*) and we don't want a Japan vs Japan race, therefore, we picked the smaller WP ten wheeler (by K&L Trainz) to challenge the D51 (a NKP 765 would be an overkill for this tiny Japanese engine)
Double-heading the Japanese steam locomotive from the same creator will lead to a hilarious speed glitch, so we removed the last few mins of this video. We gave the D51 two chances during the "race" but she was just SO SLOW! :P :P :P
Again, we didn't pause the race before the race start due to "start-up" glitches.
Thank you for watching! : )
Haha! They did a great job on the model but the speed could be better. You mentioned a speed glitch and I had an encounter with quite a good one a month back. I had recently downloaded a DLS engine and when I put it in game it didn't work to well. The same as yours when I double headed it, it started to go much faster(about 450 extra mph). Turns out that putting two of that locomotive on the same map under the same number magically doubled the e specs settings. 🤔🤷 Sometimes I find it better to not think about what causes things to happen. On second note the Chinese in latter years primarily used much larger steam engines with 10 drivers. Can't remember there exact wheel arrangement. They were commonly double headed to pull China's large consists. A old DVD of mine shows a pair of them. Now I just need to find it.
After some digging the larger Chinese locomotives where the QJs of 2-10-2 wheel arrangement. Very nice locomotives indeed.

@@TheBroughamGamer When did we get to China? That’s a Japanese D51
@@DavidR0cks14-onYT the video reminded me about them. I know the ones shown are Japanese.
The tractive effort of the D51 is 41,400lbs, easy enough to find. I have most of those Trainz JNR locos. I'm fairly sure the creator pointed out that that the engine configs weren't accurate. I replaced the configs with whatever seemed suitable. The D51 was the most numerous type in the final years of steam.
Degoichi's are one of the most beautiful engines I've seen in all my life
D51 is the best cuz it's the master of the railway
You are not doing this right.
If you want to be fair, use DCC mode and start both locomotives simultaneously while having the game on pause.
If you have the hanshin C62 Tender and it ain't faulty how do you fix it
0:10 meh
Where can I download the JNR D51 2-8-2

D51じゃ無理だろ!
せめてC53辺りで…
まぁ、まずD51自体貨物輸送用だしね。
比較するならC62の方が良かったな。
うんシロクニの方が検証に使える
