- Gridlock traffic is a reality when driving in Manhattan. Its also a pain when driving in an Air-Cooled Porsche. 24Helps and Extra Butter had a cool event and I was invited to Street Park it.

Really liked seeing how you guys do your get togethers right on the street. Looks like a chill crowd. Way different feel than the LA cars and coffee crowd.
It’s such a cool environment. The morning coffee does happen from time to time but the night gatherings also take place because the season is so short here in the northeast. Any excuse to get together, 😂

If we simply had higher standards for getting and maintaining a license in NY (and the rest of the country) we probably wouldn't need congestion pricing since people would know what signs mean, how to read traffic, not double park, drive faster than 12 mph, know how to park, develop common courtesy, etc... :P

How about overheating? I’ve just installed an auxiliary fan to cool off the oil coil in the front. Just for traffic jams…
Great idea. Thankfully I haven’t experienced any adverse temperature fluctuating while driving, even in terrible conditions.

How's the car temp mate? Everytime I got stuck in a traffic.. I'm getting really nervous because the temp just kept on rising up and to a near possible overheating. Not sure if that's the case for you as well. Or there might have been sth wrong with my 930 cooling system.
Thankfully it doesn’t run hot. I know a few of my friends who have early 930’s and the oil cooling fan helps them.
is yours a na or a turbo? Any mods you've done to it?
NA Motor. Running stock at the moment. Runs pretty good in the city!
