Hey Ric. Good to see you. Thanks so much for the advice of strapping to the wheeled bars! I was losing my mind trying to figure this out. Did you stop teaching? Thanks again!
Just saw this message. How's it going Greg! I'm still at Reni. Natasha is teaching French at Tallwood. Our house is right behind the school on Legare. This video is so old! Holy cow. Hope you figured out your cart. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm of FB or VBCPS Outlook.
Maybe a dumb question, but my strap keeps loosening. Obviously a kayak is tapered and my strap slides toward the back of the kayak and loosens. How do I keep the strap tight?
You didn't finish editing the video. At the end, there are spots where you would enter the name of the cast and location, etc. However, the video is helpful. Just need to practice!
Why wouldn't you just angle the kart inwards towards the nose of the kayak so that once you lift it and put the center on it, it's already lined up instead of having to push down on the back to swing the nose over and line it up?
hello, i got a similar cart like that but im having trouble rolling with a loaded kayak, it keeps collapsing when traveling over soft sand or bumpy terrain. any advice to prevent this happening? cheers
ebeaver2007 - how wide are your tires? If the tires are too narrow, they'll sink and that means more effort to pull through the sand, which results in cart collapse or failure.
Thank you for the strapping advice -I too was doing it incorrectly
You are welcome!
Good job. You have the best video so far.
Thanks Ric very clear and helpful
Perfect. Thanks. Super helpful video.
Thank you so much! I have been doing this wrong for a few years!
Thanks for the helpful video!
Cool idea thanks for the info
Game changer. Thank you!
Thanks, very helpful
"Enter your name here" Hahaha

Cool thanks!
What do you do with the trolley once you get to the water? Take it back to the car? Or is there some trick that is escaping me?
John Hopkins i put it back in car. Hate extra weight. Some fold up and store inside but most are too small
I bungee it under the stern and as its rust proof thats about it causes very little drag

Bryan maybe move the strap forward on the kayak. Strap to a wider part of the kayak.
Thank you! The strapping down part was a bit confusing!
I put mine behind my seat and tie it down. It fits between my crate and seat
Ric what length of ratchet strap are you using please
I think that is a 12-foot strap. It's not a ratchet strap, just a tie-down strap made by NRS.
thank you dude for your help
I have same cart but different tires I would like wide tires for sand could you post information thank you
I have not tried the wide tires for sand. Let us know how they work.

ebeaver2007 are you attaching strap to the support that folds. Be sure the strap is around support with wheels.
Be sure you have the strap around the main support, not the collapsing support.
thanks - I could not visualize the loading from the still shots of the cart!
CAN BARELY HEAR IT
Trolley was out of view for the most part and camera should have showed both sides of strap installation.
The wind noise makes this so difficult to listen to and understand!

Then what ???
Unload in the opposite order. Be sure to lift with your legs!
