I would have loved to have done boot camp with Murray. He would have always lightened things up a bit with his good sense of humour. Also that was a nice thing Jaworski said to Gordon's parents.

I am really excited to begin the military journey. I just passed the CFAT and in one month I have an interview and a medical exam. I can't wait because the military has been my dream since I could dream. I am 18 years old now and ready to do my family proud. This series definitely motivates me to push myself harder to achieve these goals. Only God knows what the future will hold, but I know that I want the Canadian Army in my future

I VR at the beginning of week 3. This was durning all the Covid protocol’s. These videos paint a very different picture than the reality of basic in 2022. Because of Covid half the stuff that they did we weren’t doing or it was modified for safety reasons. Also I felt very alone and isolated. I hope in a year or two I can re-in list and try again

Best just to get it done. I did my basic last year and was in st Jean from august 14-November 18. 5 of us from the same section went into covid iso for 6 days and got recoursed. Ended up getting put on a way better platoon. Basic was one of the greatest experiences of my life despite all the covid regulations, masks, etc. Best job I’ve ever had.

Do not get injured and try not to stand out. None of it matters, just pass then hopefuly you'll get some actual training after; you can hide stuff by the bathrooms in green sector, liquor and whatnot. I didn't do the infantry course but I got to watch others do it, that is a little bit of the actual army. It doesn't really get a whole lot better, the petty nonsense goes on. Just don't be a 00129 😹😹😹😹, It was an interesting experience but thats it. Don't let it become your personality or you'll never leave and turn into a cadpat goblin creature 👿. And get extra sleep whenever possible, never ask permission but ask for forgiveness 😂
