Nah, I've had a hard time dealing with Snake-Eye no matter the deck I use at the moment. So far, all the times I faced r-ace were with Sexosisters and I banished all their important cards+ didn't let field spell+Turbulence establish on the board
Purely is insane. Shs being rogue is crazy talk and mannadium should be at tier 3 at least. Obviously it's subjective but these decks are too oppressive and consistent to be this low.
Heavy samurai and Mannadium in the same tier as heroes and archfiend? HUH

If your a solid pilot, Unchained wipes both tier one decks as long as they don’t utilize Max C or you have the negates. Prob 8 out of 10 matches against Snake eyes and Lab and Rescue Ive demolished.
Everyone has maxx c and almost always has it on their opening hand

Super Heavy is kinda weird to me right now. I want to disagree with rogue because it feels so wrong, but even with me playing mostly rogue decks (Runick Fur Hire, Battling Boxer, Amazoness, etc) unless I just open 0 responses and get Calamity Locked, I haven’t really been losing to it and when I do, it’s close.

Don't sleep on chimera, I beat snake eye often now by disrupting their setup with chimera kings handrip effect, mirror swordknight GY effect to take out a choke point, going in to gaurdian chimera to take down two more choke points and potentially drawing in to a handtrap as by this time you already milled quite a portion of your deck , canceling their targeting effects with cornfield loatl, disrupting their battle phase with nightmare magician and juggling with the giant chimera fusion monsters to get out the right tools from the GY and banish pile to the field. Top it off with super poly shenanigans and easy predaplant by using chimera' fusion GY effect to get out gazelle and berfomet, linking gazelle away for linkspider and link them away for your predaplant for an easy super poly.
rda resonators does have an obvious choke point but if you managed to summon the 2nd rising then you'll be fine. ofc i agree that it's still rogue bc it's not really resilient against handtraps.
I agree that a lot of the hand traps people are running for snake eyes hurts purrely too, but I think purrely plays really well into maxx c especially with epurrely noir you can give them one draw and summon big cat next turn after drawing 2 to 6 cards on your next turn that’s cracked ! 😂
I would put Swordsoul as tier 2 or 3 as a going 2nd deck. Negates are crucial to get it to that state so Dark Ruler, Imperm, and Droplet are crucial, and I also Run Nibiru and Lava Golem for good removal for big boards...
My fun decks for this event are Fluffals and Ice Barriers...

Honestly, I’ve been having more success playing Vanquish Soul with Kashtira than VS pure. The 2 individual are brick factories but together they’re funnily more consistent.
Out of curiosity where would you rank Runick Generaider? It’s been a sleeper hit of a deck for me. I’d put it as a good rogue deck, probably an upper rogue.
How much longer do you think labyrinth will be relevant for? Thinking about making a labyrinth deck but i dont want it to go out of meta just a few weeks later...
I think they will be relevant for Long Time because its good but rare played
They're very good, the best back row deck in existence, and requires actual skill. You can't just set 5 and pass and call it a day.
I haven't lost a single game to Rescue or Snake eyes or Kash while running pure mikanko. The only out with any lf those decks are zelandis and underworld goddess. But Mikanko even has an answer for Zelandis

W list on the whole. To me, Rescue Ace feels a little bit stronger than SE in about 60-70% of matchups, but the remaining 30-40% of matchups are a massive uphill battle, which takes it out of tier 1. Very limited options for dealing with backrow, a huge reliance on targeting, multiple ignition effects that can be countered by removal - in matchups where you can get good value off your archetypal interactions, the deck is crazy, but it’s lacking the flexibility of SE.
A good R-ACE hand is getting a very similar number of wins to a good Snake Eye hand - R-ACE can often play through more points of interaction with a decent opener, though SE having more 1-cards and handtraps does help offset that a bit. The Maxx C lines help R-ACE as well, but you’re only getting Maxx C’d going first without a counter every 1/12 games, and whilst R-ACE will have an easier time when that happens, just going Flamberge + IP pass will still win some of those games - I don’t think it’s a big enough factor to offset the uphill battles you get.
Stray Purrely Street solos the deck, whether they go first or second. Lab just sets up in the deck’s face. Stun matchups are even worse than usual since you still struggle even going first. There’s countless rogue-leaning decks like Chimera and Mikanko that skirt around almost every one of the decks interactions. I just struggle to put it above SE when that deck makes most of those matchups feel much more winnable

Was hoping to get an opinion on volcanic. I've been playing a snake eyes volcanic build that's kinda toxic. Pure is 100% better, but the ftk is more fun for me, especially when I can get game under a Maxx C cuz the bomb stops imperm 😂

until crimson + calamity gets banned, they will always be around tier 3+
also the use of droll is somewhat getting dropped, shs and mannadium are definitely stronger this season.
Dude you're sleeping on archfiend, it's very resilient, consistent ,can extend easily even after the typical negate on rising dragon. It takes a good pilot but the potential is massive. Also once red lotus comes, it will get even more powerful and consistent.

5:06 ngl you inda underestimating snae eyes ability to play under maxxC. If they get maxxC'ed on poplar trigger. You summon pop search field spell (draw 1) special ip (draw2) set ash in backrow with poplar set flameberge in backrow with the field spell and pass. Opp turn whenever they normal or special summon you activate the field spell special flameberge activate flameberge summon ash search for poplar special poplar link with ip into a 4 material appolousa. That's 4 interruption for 2 draws as well. With 2 monsters in defence and original for followup. That's nothing to scoff at under maxxC

I'd say this is a pretty fair assessment with your reasoning. You're missing a couple like Unchained, which I'd agree could be high rogue.
Any of these decks could put up solid unbeatable boards for the most part, it all depends on the coin flip and the shuffler

I faced R-Ace x Snake Eyes, dropped a zero Trish, went into regular trish and banished their whole field and left them with one card in their hand, it was TTT, they drew 2, and that ended in me losing to turbulence + snake eye combo 🤣🤦🏻♂️ long story short I agree with the hot take

Purely is definitely better than you give it credit for. Droll has fallen off hard, it plays really well into Maxx "C" and is more much more consistent than Kashtira (which lost yet another starter with the new banlist). Easy top of Tier 3, if not bottom of Tier 2.
My main issue with it is how mid it is at going second in comparison to decks like mathmech and kash. it's definitely up for discussion though

Really disagree with superheavy samurai being rouge, with nobody playing droll it feels like it is easily the second best deck in the game. Being able to fit 17 handtraps into your deck just makes going second against most decks not really a problem.
Vanquish soul is bad in MD only. On TCG deck is easiy tier 2 because it has 3 pots and 3 fenrir.

Swordsoul weaker then resonator and heroes doesnt make much sense considering how well swordsoul adapts to any meta despite its rogue status. Also the different ways to play the deck
