I'm reminded of the awful encounters with fungis in the abyss of genshin, they will spawn at the edges and sometimes don't even attack or approach you, not even acknowledge your existence if you're not right in front of them which is a very boring way to make you lose time
Finally I tried the game, currently at rank 15 and yeah, this is a problem, is like every fight has a very slow build up until it gets fun and the weirdest thing is that they treat the skills as if they were ultimates as well so you have to spam a lot of NA to have the privilege to use the skill, which is weird, why not just put a cooldown and cooldown reduction with dodges and such? I found that slow start annoying but once the battle heats up is very fun! The control part, I noticed that as well but it gets really noticeable with the shark that has to run and then charge attack to get the ice going
any chance that would be a lack dmg? maybe lack of options for weapons and such? or maybe lvl limiters? i want to believe this isn't going to be an issue when i start tomorrow :/ but i do get bored when fighting enemies that are really just not worth my time but take as much of it as possible :P
Huh then I think this is what that certain tweet I saw where they said the enemy is not "engaging". Advertising themselves as action-packed when it's just you onesidedly bullying the mobs 😂
It's a fair complaint! Hopefully enough of the beta testers would have also made this feedback and that the actual combat gameplay in launch would have these fodder enemies be less tanky.
Yeah, I also noticed this issue while watching Kyo played through the last cbt. Enemy should be a balanced between tankiness and agression. If they are just fodder with limited moves, they should be less tanky, while elite and bosses with more moves will have more hp to prolonged the thrilling battles.
I don't think it's just as simple as adjusting the enemy stat. It's about enemy design as a whole. If the enemy is tanky af, but also have a variety of exciting moves/mechanics, then it's still a good design.
so hoyoverse just like to make time-waster gacha games... to be backed by aesthetic waifus, husbando, lolis and now, furries... thanks for this video... hope hoyoverse dropped down one day... P.S. they could have make it into rhythm action game like hifi-rush... but yeah, it's hoyoverse, they don't care... let them take care of their privileged child that is HI3rd and shunned their adopted kid that is genshin... honkai star rail might be pampered well, but soon...
My problem is Hoyo's apparent obsession with giving characters moles and "beauty marks" that just look ridiculous and are unnecessary in a video game. The female characters all look silly because of this
it's just recycled templates of their previous projects that came before, it won't be long before we got another mei and bronya in ZZZ should they plan on keeping it alive

Fungi are the least worry. There are more annoying ones like the worm, snake, etc.

Can same in Wuthering Waves like this video?

I totally feel the same way about this!
WuWa/Bayo-like dodge mechanics? I'm so in. (I'm already stoked for this game for Ben anyway, so)
i think zzz need pvp/pve for more hardcore player,so far zzz is the most polish anime game for sure
what a problem... Its over...
ZZZ is not on my to-do-list
I am staying with Genshin, HSR, WuWa and Reverse 1999

It’s kinda like that in Honkai Impact 3rd too. Trash mobs are way too tanky.
If this game is still TV simulator I don't even bother to looking at it
They already optimized it, now it only take 20-30% play time, and there are also game modes that don't have those tv at all.
I bet they will be nerfed in future just like Genshin.

At this point it would be nice to have auto combat
