- Hello everyone here is my new holy priest guide for the newest patch 7.2.5! They changed some of our pvp talents. Buffed some things. Nerfed others. Please let me know what you guys think!

Nice video! Good tip there with the prayer of mending against dot teams, i always find it hard against affliction warlocks..cant seem to do anything about it, but im gonna try your tip next time:)

Yeah i will! Its also that they can constantly lock you, and normally they play with a restoshaman aswell...so its a constant trying to fish out the locks, but then u get the damn pet locking u from nowhere or the shaman:P and then its the stuns and fear ...gaah...just to much of everything in this game
lol yeah i hear you. i always have my OP dps class just train the lock the whole time. dont let them do anything. then i cc heals.

estebombbb hey thanks for watching and the comment! i do have footage that i am going to be posting this week for rbg and RBG. what i spec and how i play.
The biggest difference I noticed in how we spec is that I always use Body and Mind for the extra accuracy and healing over time it gives, it ticks every 1 second for 4 seconds so it is worth about half a Flash Heal, all 3 of our HoTs on a target at once is actually a lot of healing and still works if they cc us after applying all 3 of them.
I'm also Worgen so the gap in mobility between Feathers and B&M is shortened.
If you're running Vim and Vigor then it might be worth taking Perseverance against rot teams. Body and Mind is great for countering rot comps as well.
I actually never take Piety, I find the mobility from Surge of Light as well as not having to worry about kicks when it procs to be too good to give up. Surge is also great with Miracle Worker and Apotheosis.

I wanted to just say THANK YOU! I have always played holy pve and switched to disc for pvp as i felt i always got ganked on holy. Your vids have me top healing bg's now! One question is which legendaries do you run for pvp?

As far as gear goes. It does not matter what your gear is, all that matters is item level. I have the legendary cloak that with resurrect me when i die but it only works out in the world not in bgs or arena.

o perfect. for some reason its not updating on youtube. Just so you know literally if all your gear was cloth and had 100% strength and agility it would not matter in instanced pvp. all that matters is item level i.e. a 910 robe will give you better pvp stats than a 890 robe.
for every 10 item levels you have total gear wise gives you i think 1 % betters stats.
so a person at 900 ilvl will have a 10% advantage over say a 800 ilvl person.
they have instanced pvp stat templates. so lets say me and you are both on our preists as holy and we both have 900 ilvl. we will both have the exact same everything. our spells will hit the same our crit, versa. , stam., intellect. it will all be the same. if you have 34% crit through your gear prior to entering a bg it will go down to the templated stats that wow has deemed good for your spec and class.
does that make sense? lol i know it's weird.

Excellent guide. I am leveling my priest and I am interested in Holy more than Disc. I will be doing 2s with Arms Warrior or DH. Any tips for the spec I should go? Love the way to take time to explain everything from scratch and even show exemples.. not like every "guide" we can find. Liked and Subscribed.

Mathieu Rioux hey there thanks for the comment. as far as spec goes it really depends on what you are up against. any comp that has high CC like rogue mage or balance druid i run relentless. other than that i just do my trinket. really it comes down to practice and i am sure you will get it.

Mathieu Rioux with 2s i like unholy dk, holy priest. 3s if you want to win easy just RMP or thug works well with you being holy. disc is ok but i feel like holy is really strong right now.

I love psyching out the other by always casting MC first so they waste their silence/interrupt on the shadow lockout so that I can heal without interruptions!
A friendly tip to the creator of this video - Start using Prayer of Mending every time it goes off CD - get those mendings rolling especially when using Rapid mending - helps a lot over all healing

Dedal it is not a macro just a display option. I did it a while ago and can't remember the option. I will check when i get on later. :)

I want to know what gives the instant flash heal procs I've can't find them in the talents and I never get them
Jordan Holley its the talent surge of light. It gives an 8% chance on any heal or smite to proc a free instant flash heal. I think it's the level 75 talent.

personally i love the instant prayer of mending. because it works so well in BGs, RBGs and arena against rot teams and arena teams with lots of CC or interrupts. Because while you are kicked or CCed your prayer of mending is bouncing around healing. Also before a fight even start you can have 2 or 3 already out if you spec piety and rapid mending.

You don't have to be top player to understand and teach things. In many sports, trainers have accomplished less then players. Someone could be even completely disabled and still teach other how to use all spells and talents.
