He made all the throws, sure, but his confidence and banter is what REALLY made him stand out. If you’ve never coached football or played at a higher level it’s hard to pick up on, but those coaches were being wooed with Eli’s confidence and leadership they just didn’t know it at the time. When I was in 7th grade I went to the giants packer nfc championship game with my uncles and after we lost I was walking out of lambeau crying and my uncles were telling me it’s going to be ok lol an older couple of giants fans came over by me and he gave me his tiki barber jersey and told me it’s ok to cry after a loss and put that on me. Got a scholarship to Maryland Terps. Was extremely good starting his freshman or red shirt freshman year. Then his head coach left and a whole new system and coach took over. Was making all the passes. Looked like an nfl guy if he got 3-4 years of tape like his first season. Sucks what coaching changes do to players careers. Played in Canada. Good to see he's doing his thing... but common man! That look like a college kid to you haha

I did this to the new coach at my Highschool.. when I was 20 I was working out at the highschool throwing around with the kids on the team, launching balls from the 50 into the end zone before they ran some 7 on 7 and the new coach came up to me and started asking tons of questions.. I looked really young then so I told him I was 15 and transferring in that year.. he had me running second team in 7 on 7 and I was dotting shit up 😂 he was in love until my boy got done in the weight room and came out and told the coach “he’s like 25” 😂 crushed the poor guy’s heart
Its disturbing to know manning was drafted in 04' (meaning his college career started in 2000 presumably @ ole miss) and is currently in his early 40s and can still pull off looking like a talent in college ball. Archie, Peyton, and Eli are freaks of nature. I watched eli play my entire childhood, the fact that he ran a 4.90 during the combine and is still able to run a sub 6 second 40 after the long career/all the hits he took is also impressive.
