Glad to see a movie that talks about long distance relationships post marriage. As someone who is currently in the same bucket, several scenes in the trailer are a reflection of what my wife and I went as well as continue to go through, as we work towards achieving our dreams, with a fervent hope to be together whenever possible. Kudos team! I hope to someday write our story into a book...

I think the story is ok and cinematography was wonderful! But Tamil girls don’t really walk around wearing sari EVERYWHERE they go. they wear salwar (chudithar and a shawl) in villages and wear modest, western clothes in cities too!! Also, Abimanyu does have a “South look” and features! Sanya is gorgeous, but I would have enjoyed it if they cast actual Tamil/South actress, it would be more authentic! But she did well anyways! Like actresses Anupama Parameshwaran, Nithya menen, Sai Pallavi, or Vani Bhojan are great too!! I recommend watching this movie in Tamil audio with the English captions

Brilliant movie. Simple yet leaves a smile on your face. Sanya malhotra should get a national award for her performance. She showcased all the needful expressions in such natural and impactful way. Very very apt casting. The music was the cherry on the cake.

That's the problem. What they showed in the movie is not the reality. If they show it like this you'll end up making assumptions about South India.

Thats the problem, you assume this is "south indian culture" by such movies, in reality there is no such thing as southindian culture, each southindian state has their own culture. What they have shown here as "southindian culture" is of certain part of tamil people not whole south.
