the game will be very huge...
Saw an one hour interview with the PR Manager of Warhorse speaking about the game which is a lot of time to reveal things but without spoiling anything of the story unless "KCD2 will start exactly where KCD1 ended" ....and he confirmed amongst many other things about many technical development + gameplay stuff which I will spare now to write (I don´t want to write a detailed essay about an hour long conversation, I guess that will all be revealed in English in the next time anyway - it was an interview in German = the PR manager is a native German, and I´m a native German speaker) that the map of the town Kuttenberg is slightly bigger than the whole map of KCD 1 and the second map of "Bohemian Paradise" (= is the actual name of that actual area in the Czech Rep and a nature conservation area around the castle ruin Trosky which got burned down in the 30 Years War 1618-48 which I have already visited many years ago because it´s just a 3 hour car drive from where I live in Austria = the castle you see with the towers on those 2 rocks in the presentation)/ = the rural area map of the game which is almost as big as the whole map of KCD1 = so that is an immense open world game when wandering around per foot/on horse.

a reminder that I need to actually finish the first game. thankfully my PC is fast enough now to play the game on much higher settings

I'm doing exactly this right now lol. I have the royal edition with all DLC so I have quite a bit to get through. I think I am about halfway through the main story and I have started rebuilding prybislavitz. 😊😊

Hey, greetings from Bohemia, I hope you will enjoy the game as I did the first title and I'm so thrilled for the second one, it's hard to express that. But guys the graphics and the scenery of both games is so historically and geographically accurate, that it is really insane, how good that is.

The one thing i hope will be better in this game is the balancing of difficulty. This is very difficult to do. Meaning if you want to give a player complete freedom to explore while also not giving enemies ''levels'' like in other games (Even Elden ring has ''levels'' for enemies even if it does not show it).. comes with the downside of balancing issues.
In skyrim all enemies would level with you, so if you got stronger they got stronger as well, that was kinda bad also. I think they can do it this time perhaps. But in KCD 1 in the beginning you where very weak, then got stronger during the game and more skilled wich was awesome. But at the end of the game you could just kill every bandit to easy. Even on hardcore difficulty with all those perks this problem was still there.
But other then that they just nailed almost everything in their first game KCD 1.. wich is very impressive for a new studio.
Part 2 looks to be shaping up nicely.
I'm going to try and avoid watching too many videos on KCD 2 so I can avoid getting over hyped. Still looking forward to it though.

@Renfail The trouble is too much can lead to disappointment and I'm trying to avoid that.
I like music in cinematic scenes, but not in combat. Its a pc game. Not an action movie.
I'm so happy that creative people make games and not combat junkies. And it's not a PC game. It's a multiplatform title launching simultaneously on consoles and PC
Also i want to say, a good sign is how the developers have very genuine excitedment and confidence about their own game it seems. Like during starfields trailers the devs looked like they kinda knew the game was maybe not what they 100% wanted.
But the KCD devs are like: yea, this game is going to kick ass.
Yeah I don't gagree that the Starfield team didn't have excitement for their game. People make games to be fun, they don't go out of their way to make crappy products. Get over that Bethesda hardon, mate.
Looks awesome but I don’t like the first person perspective. Wish it was in third person
I love it. Happy to have a game that isn't third person. Keeps it from being just like all the other medieval RPGs that try to do this.
