- My genuine first impressions of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 when Warhorse Studios dropped the trailer. This was a clip taken out of my livestream today and my god, to say I'm excited is a huge understatement! Blew away my expectations with the gameplay and graphics and I cannot wait for this game to be released. Waited a long time to say this, "HENRY HAS COME BACK TO SEE US!!!"

As someone living not that far off where the first game takes place and having graduated from history and knowing our castles, I immidietly lost my shit when I saw the Trosky castle at 1:38, it's just that iconic looking! I'd say it's from a fantasy if I hadn't known otherwise. And 1:53 I assumed it was Kutná Hora (Kuttenberg), which later got confirmed and I almost passed out lmao. I was never ever this hyped in my entire life. I am also trying to spy what the fortified humble manor at 2:28 is, but that is probably a long shot, for now.
Edit: Also, I'll listen to the chant of Santa Barbara daily at least 10 times until the game actually launches lol
100 percent troski castle and someone brought up to me that all the banners seen in the trailer (red banner with white castle) are that of troski castle so I have a feeling that will be a center piece of this game! Looks fantastic!

Love the reaction video! I was literally brought to tears by the reveal when I saw it live. I had backed the first game on Kickstarter in January 2014, the same month it was announced, and I'm even more eager to get my hands on the sequel.
Anyway, thanks for the 2nd-hand dopamine rush!! I've not been nearly this excited for a new game release since 2010 when Assassin's Creed: Revelations was announced, and I can remember the moment when I was like 9 or 10, opening the new issue of Game Informer magazine and seeing the Skyrim being announced, but not even those two compare to KCD 2 for me....
That means a lot to hear. That was actually clipped out of a livestream I was doing while playing KCD 1 and I was sweating, tearing up, whooping, cheering. I can genuinely say I've never felt that way about a game reveal and I clipped it and posted it because watching it back to see "what a fool I made of myself" while being giddy and hyped I started tearing up again lol I had to post it individually and I'm happy someone others felt the same way I felt!
It is rare they uae the same actors and actresses in sequels 👍

This looks absolutely stunning! I usually wait a few months to buy a big game to give the developers time to fix some of the early bugs - but not this time. Can't wait! And so glad Henry and Hans are back!

There have been rumors around that as of date of the announcements, the game is pretty much finished.
If that is true, all they do right now is final polishing and bug fixing.
They were in the process of soon sending it to Microsoft and Sony to get approved on consoles. Once that comes back it's just fine tuning so I think it'll be around October/November time if there's no issues

@@Griff_Gaming It's weird I still feel like KCD is our own little secret, especially given the Fallout resurgence cos the kids have seen the TV show and now want to play the game that's older than them. KCD II is going to be immense I can just tell!
@AwareWolfOnWheels definately feels like we are on an island for those that know and love the game but the next few months might see a huge surge of KCD 1 players while they wait for this new game. Especially given the fact that the original trailer for KCD 1 has less than 400k views in 10 years and with this one, Warhorse is about to break 1M views in less than 24 hours. And if there's a single person that can honestly watch that trailer all the way to the end and not IMMEDIATELY wishlist that game then we can't be friends. I want to make a second steam account just to wishlist it again lol

Honestly the thing I'm most excited about is czech audio. Playing ot the way its supposed to sound. Witcher is supposed to be played in polish and KCD is supposed to be played in czech 🇨🇿
Maybe for the lore but I think I'll play with English. I still have yet to do a Ghosts of Tsushima run in Japanese so never say never but first few playthroughs def in English for me lol

As a hungarian person it was so funny playing as Henry and i just understood how the hungarian soldiers have cursed me when i just burchered them😂 also it was very useful when they wanted to lie to me and bait me and i just owned them later on haha😂 even tho this game had its issues and bugs, glitches, it is one of the best games i have ever played. I have long given up pre ordering games because of scam companies like ubisoft but this one will land on my desk with a deluxe edition😎 Cant wait!!!!!!🎉🎉 I really hope tho i dont have to train for hours just to be semi useful like in the first one 😂
From what the developers are saying that won't be the case since you're not the "loser" (their words not mine) that you started the first game off to be but there will still be a learning curve since your far from what's considered a master swordsman. Hopefully it'll be balanced to be challenging but not grindy
I was worried they made it less realistic as so many people complained. I love this game because of the realism, historical accuracy and history telling (and voice acting), plus I don´t think I disliked any character (except when they where meant to be hated). I am looking forward to see it! I might not get it, as it looks my computer won't be able to run it, but I hope that as soon as I can I will buy it!

It looks for now they've stuck to the integrity of the first game. As far as the lore accuracy and realism aspects! Hopefully they also introduce a similar thing where there's a "hardcore mode" for masochists like me to torture myself even more lol

If it goes south, the first one is amazing, and if the second one is an improvement... Well, I'll have years of enjoyment ahead with a new story! So there is no losing scenario here.

These “journos” are bad people and want to create a scandal. It will be diverse in the sense that there will be Cumans (Turkic people) and Germans (very dominant in Kuttenberg) and Czechs and and more (possibly a Jewish minority in Kuttenberg?). You know things that actually make sense in the setting. As Warhorse said in their response to the loaded question (aimed at Vavra), they want to create believable worlds based on historical information. Not what these journalists think…

some parts of the video were definitely shot in Prague: Charles Bridge for sure, a little of St. Vitus probably. And then they've teleported to Kutna Hora
There's a large array of environments for sure! Can't wait to see everything they included and maybe some locals from the first game included as well just in the future

Definitely not Prague. The place you think is Charles bridge is actually a spot next to the St. Barbara Cathedral. And of course the cathedral is that of St. Barbara too, not St. Vitus.

If you're looking for more information about KCD2, the Czech YT gaming channel "Indian - pořad o hrách" (Indian - a show about games) published a 45 min interview with the chief designer of KCD and KDC2 Prokop Jirsa, where he explains some new features (e.g. crossbows, firearms), the creators' intentions, the game systems (e.g. reputation system) and the dilemmas creators had to solve (e.g. no children). You can find it under the title: "Rozhovor o vývoji Kingdom Come: Deliverance II s vedoucím designérem hry - PVP" (Interview about the development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with the game's lead designer - PVP). It's in Czech, but I convinced them to add subtitles. Hurry up before they delete my post here... ;)

Since yesterday when I heard 2 is coming.........I started Playing the first game over again. Going get back to it in a few hours from now.
Did the bury parents part woke up gonna do that quest to pay that guy off with the dig up to find out not there then go to Executioners house to get.
Right at the start! Good luck on the playthrough! I suggest hardcore all neg perks. Best way to play IMO
honestly the one thing that killed the first game for me were the bugs on ps4.
I needed like 4 restarts before I could make it to the castle were you would sleep the first night.
And then at the forth attempt the npc that would give me weapon and armor wouldn‘t spawn so I had to google a glitch that would allow me to leave the castle even without the npc.
The start was riddled with bugs and kinda killed the fan base. It's MUCH better now and refinement on the second game has taken priority so I don't think it'll have the same troubles at launch the last one did
actually its taking Place 3-4 days later xD but who knows when those battles took place? maybe a year later? maybe we get a full year cycle with summer and winter?
Would be cool. Some days of the week would be nice too. Like on Sundays they have a huge festival or something in Kuttenberg or a market square

The combat system worries me. If they still make it hard and clunky to switch targets in a fight, battles are going to be a mess again.
I'm sure that's recieved some refinement. Plus they have so many more developers and testers I'm hoping for a more refined system that stays unique at its core

@asherdayne6157 I think for min requirements it'll probably be something like a rtx 2060 or an equivalent and maybe a i5 11th gen or newer? That could maybe get a decent medium to high performance at 1080p. For ultra setting I can't even begin to speculate. This is super early though to the point where they don't even have minimum specs on steam yet so as time goes on we should know more. That's just my blind guess on what I think might be required to run such a rich game....

Bro unless the combat is the same but better and give me the option to remove master strikes and the slow mo effect, I really dont care about the graphics and whatever else lol. It does look a bit faster paced in the base game but if not I'm sure it'll be modded in real quick! It's honestly the only way I play now with the NoMoSloMo mod. Incredible. Definately seems like they've kept their core details in place and just tuned everything from the graphics to the animations up to 11

1:55 well thankfully, not really. The style has only changed. Henry and Capon are still very young and barely old enough to be considered men (in late medieval Europe)
Very well might be the art style but something about the way all the characters look that makes me feel like some time has passed. Maybe around 5 to 6 years. Maybe just more noticeable on the already older characters like Marvart. Maybe sometime soon we will get a year that the game takes place in but I bet it's sometime closer to the Hussite Wars....

In my defense that was a live reaction. I think it was a mix of excitement and just seeing it through once. In my defense the Hans part I was correct about since I was talking about the guy that was down on the ground. So don't take that away from me lol

Just cant wait for this, if they iron out the AI in combat when your fighting more than 1 guy and make it less jarring and improve in general other areas we could be on to a all time great here with the base of the first! 🤞
Haha I know what you mean. The first game was a great foundation but if they can add to that and add more and iron it out, I think they might have a GOTY on their hands. Other than MAYBE Helldivers 2 I can't think of anything else coming out this year that would be better than this....
