- In This episode we travel from Karratha to a free camp, we dodge fires and turn around to go somewhere safer. We choose to explore 40 mile camp 80km south of Karratha right on the beach.
we explore our surroundings and go on the hunt for mud crabs and fish all afternoon, we watch one of the most epic sunsets on our back door and get attacked by midges.

We are a family of 5 travelling Australia indefinitely in our new Lotus Caravan and our 2021 F350 from Harrison F-Trucks. We will take you to many destinations and let you know what works for us and what doesn’t, so you don’t make the same mistakes.
We are from Perth Western Australia and want to see as many destinations as we can together as a family, we never take the easy road and if we see a track, we always wonder where it will lead us, so we generally take it to see where it leads.

Just wondering what you find is the best sand fly repellent. Heading up that way in a few months. Something we find helpful with our rubbish bag is I bought a 20lt blue plastic water jerry and cut the top off and use it in the bag so there is no leakage and easy to lift out to empty the bag. Thanks top vid.
not sure ourselves yet normally I get smashed no matter what I do. we have tried a few but not really sure to be honest. cheers for your tips too, that's a great idea.
