@@jaclynns.jungle It sure did! I'm enjoying the empty spaces they provided me....for some plants that don't attract spider mites! Thats all I get. I've had mealies one time but it was because I brought them in on a plant from a nursery and didn't see them. Thank God it was an isolated case.

The philodendron you thought was a no variagation pink Princess is a red emerald. They are both cultivars of philodendron erubescens (along with strawberry shake, dark lord, green emerald, and painted lady) so they look similar.
For sure, I just thought the color looked the same!

At my lowe’s last week in Mass they had some beautiful, healthy hoya compacta’s. I was tempted to get another but found some self control 😮😂 My white princess is a baby too and has gotten stuck as well
They get less stuck as they get bigger! Try higher humidity if you can, or just mist the new leaves daily when they're coming in!!

I know inflation is real but, some of those prices are just ridiculous. I've been collecting plants since 2019 and never been to a local plant shop. All the plants I've acquired has been from online shops, groups, and big box stores.
Well, then how would you know what's a good price for a plant shop? Prices have come way down, not gone up, in the last year. To be able to find a plant in person and not risk the shipping is worth an extra few dollars to most people, as well as knowing the plant is much healthier than at a big box store. To find a plant like the Philodendron Billie, for example, for only $32, is kind of crazy to me. You won't find that at a big box store, and you definitely will pay more online. If you know the market value of plants, you can always decide for yourself what's a good price and what isn't. Like I did in this and all my plant shopping videos, I say what's a fair price and what is marked too high. Inflation isn't impacting plant prices the way you think. People have less money to spend on things they don't need, and therefore the market is way down and prices are plummeting due to availability and TC. Prices also vary depending on where you are, and how much they got the plant from the supplier for. Hope that helps you understand better!

Oh Jaclynn I am so sorry about you losing your Grandfather, that is so sad, I lost my grandparents over 20 years ago. Oh gosh that RoseDale nursery has so many wonderful plants, I love the Calathea orbifolia. I also love Syngonium, and Agleaonema. I have two Bonnie spider plants and I really love those so much. I also love the red maranta and saw one at my Home Depot. That Pellonia Repens that I have I rescued mine at Walmart over 3 years ago and it is doing fantastic and is twice the size of when I first got it and I really love it so much. Oh goodness so many really cool plants. I have 4 Orchids and they are all blooming. Some succulents are not my favorites. I really love the 7 Christmas and Thanksgiving cactus that I have. Oh gosh those Hoya you found are really beautiful. That last nursery you went to has a lot of really great plants Michaels Garden gate nursery. I am not a fan of cacti that will poke me even though that Opuntia was so cool looking, loved the variegation it had. I also really love the lemon lime maranta as well as the red maranta. Oh Jaclynn I had so much fun on this plant shopping you took us on. I always love a great nursery that has some awesome plants and even the home stores that have some great plants. I'm so sorry for your loss! On a plant comment...my neon pothos got a small dark green splotch on one of her leaves and I was like "guuurl" (in my best Jaclynn in my head voice 😂). But seriously, any idea what causes them to do that? Like is it something we can set it up to do based on care/setting or is it just a totally random thing or genetics?

I don’t think your Spath Donino, if I remember right you got it in an import an it’s the way harder to find an more expensive Pisco Spath. 💚 Keep an eye out, I found a 6 in hanging basket of the V.
