I too love following you and your wonderful family. I too feel calm from your calming voice. I have been to Provence twice, and have passed through the lavender fields, and the gorge du verdon. I enjoy getting to know Gorbio, and many other small towns with you, and revisiting ones like Eze, Nice, Antibe and others with you. I also enjoy your recipes, and have used some of them. After our first visit to Provence e planted 70 lavender plants on our property❣️

I went to Provence on a school trip when I was 17 (and saw Cezanne's studio!) But I wish I had the maturity and perspective to enjoy it as I would at my current age.
The lavender fields were gorgeous! I can just imagine how wonderful the air smells.The gorge looked so beautiful and the turquoise water looked so clear and refreshing. What a lovely trip.

What....only one box of wine ? I remember this so well, when we first toured France we bought only one box here & one box there and later...back in the UK we regretted it so much ! Then we made a good job of it and went to live in the wonderful, magical Haute Beaujolais....12 superbe wines to choose from, our favourites were Régnié , Morgon & Moulin à Vent

Many years ago I read a lovely short novel by Alain Fournier, “Le Grand Meaulne”. It gave such an impression of rural France and the beautiful French countryside. I was fortunate see a bit of it finally in 2005 as a student abroad. We took the train from Paris to Toulouse, through the Bordeaux region. Saw vineyards and winding creeks. I long to return and spend much more time all over the country and mountains. Also saw violet fields in Toulouse and tasted violet ice cream!!!

The films are very good if you can find them with brillant French actors and stunning landscapes of Provence 1 - la gloire de mon père 2- Le château de ma mère 3 - le temps des secrets 1 -Jean de Florette 2 - Manon des sources I love them so much.
