What makes me happy about this is seeing that even without Kane, three realistic signings in Kim, Costa and Mount would add so much more cohesion to the team. That and we can still bring in the likes of Hojlund into the team to compete for minutes and develop, whether Kane arrives or not.
Mount is not realistic, they want a crazy fee like 70+add ons. We need to move on from him.
If we only get hojlund as our striker it would still be an L. Because martial cannot remain fit. So we’ll still need another striker as backup.
@@sheena9904 we need mount. Right half space player, Will improve Antony, Dalot and the central striker's output. Also, he's the best presser united will have, guy presses like a beast. Price should be below 50m
@@prabuddhbaiid2888We don't need Mount
@@charlesodoch6070 at his best, he provides goals, assists & fantastic pressure. All of which united need more of.
Mount is the kind of player who adds to people around him, works hard, is selfless, does the dirty work. He's a technician too. Hallmarks of a ten hag midfielder.
Nice one Dave! spot on I think on all levels on what ETH is trying to achieve at Man United.
One fact people keep missing, Aaron Wan Bisaaka is better at build up. There's much more stability when progressing the ball from the back than Diogo Dalot. He's is underated in that aspect
You do not have to lie . Dalot is way better in build up than awb . He plays with intention while Awb just seems to have no idea of what to do in the final third
@@eromoseleebozele7802 why would you accuse someone of lying when they are expressing their opinion?
@@surpriserakins9067 because he said one fact people keep missing. Keyword fact . Thats no longer an opinion
@@eromoseleebozele7802 it is still not nice to say he is lying. The fact he said people and NOT ALL PEOPLE means he is still expressing his personal opinion. For me I will choose AWB over Dalot anyday and anytime.
@@shawnfave5221 he literally said the fact that . I can argue that that fact is not true hence a lie
This stuff gets me so excited as a United fan, Signings of Mount,Kim Min Jae, Rice, Kane and Diogo Costa or Lucas Chevalier or Bart Verbruggen would be class Id also like to see Emiliano Martinez (Midtjylland) would like to see you do analysis on him he looks a future Gem that would slot right in id like to also see Joao Felix at United, Levi Colwill, Malick Thiaw and Alan Varela or Gabri Veiga
Bart Verbruggen is going to be a big name - another wonderkid from the Belgian league
My high ass read Diego Costa instead of Diogo
Any thoughts on Brentfords Raya and I’d take Viega. I’d also love to see Joao Felix at utd but question where would he play would he be our striker orrr
Bro,levi Colwill and Kim min jae will revolutionize our defense with the addition of diogo costa,we're talking proper possession based football from the back although I doubt players like Bruno and rashford can follow as they'll give the ball away so much trying to catch they're oppositions on a counter every time
@@amemji5873 based on his career so far. Joao Felix works best as a 2nd striker similar to Dele Alli. He could play as a #10, keyword "could", but I don't think he would want to be on the bench and I don't think he's the answer as United's #9.
Costa, Kim, Mount & Kane would allow us to dominate.
Not a chance.
@@jennyneame1003 your a fool if you think united is not heading that way!
@@onpurpose1896 ETH first has to establish a dominating style of play. Adding big names doesn't make you win the PL or the CL.
Add Hojlund and another backup CDM to that mix and we will be solid title contenders

Great video StatD! Appreciative!
Brilliant video 👏👏 spot on Dave 👍👍💯💯
This is one of your videos have enjoyed the most..Good job 👍🏻
Great video. I’m a huge fan of Kane and Mount and think they would
be amazing for United.
What makes you a fan of Mount? Since when?
@@directorme6669 I’ve been a fan of Mount right as he broke into the Premier League. He is really skilled at passing shooting and dribbling and has a great work rate also. This last year he showed me that he’s got that fighting spirit that all of TenHag’s signings seem to have when he got into it with Martinez. He’s really a great player and I’m sure that he’ll continue to develop into an even better one. I’m looking forward to the next season and see how our team continues to develop improve and evolve. TenHag is the man!
@@directorme6669 by the way I watch every single Manchester United game but I also watch as many of the other games that I can so I’ve seen Mount play loads of football
Brilliant video. The Andre shout is fantastic and you’d have to imagine he’d jump at the chance to develop under Casemiro the best Brazilian 6 of this generation. Of all the starters linked I’d probably give Kim the lowest priority as Varane and Lindelof have both played excellently when called upon alongside Martinez. The entire defences performances would likely take a big leap with a reliable and authoritative keeper behind them which is why I consider Costa to be the absolute priority, closely followed by Kane. Mount in the right half space makes more sense by the day. Exciting times 🙌🏽
The thing with Kim is he's unbelievable value given his quality. If it wasn't a release clause I'd wait and strengthen elsewhere but if we wait we'll miss out
I think we should see the City defensive squad.....they have at least 4 central defensive players if we take Ake out of it. They have Dias, Stones, Akanji & Laporte & even Rodri can play in that position. So, even after adding KMJ, our defense wouldn't be equal with them. But i agree wiz the costa priority too. 👍
@@StatmanDavespot on…we would be oh so foolish if we allowed this chance to miss us…Kim is easily worth 70m+ pounds we can’t miss this opportunity
The progressive passing option from Kim is why I consider him a priority too. Costa, absolutely. Kane would indeed revolutionize the attacking play but I believe if we can keep possession more then the goals will come like it did for Liverpool whose wide men were their goalscoring threat. It's why for me, I'd want the striker to be the last thing. Get the GK, Kim, mount and Andre. This would be a solid base to get more control. If we can get up to 65-70goals with this, it's a win because that backline would be solid. The monster and the butcher is a partnership made in heaven. Adding the striker at this point would just be the final piece making everything come together. But the base is important and it's why I agree with the way Dave went about the building of the team.
KMJ is not moving to MU.
Great video Dave!
For me a new keeper is a must, Costa is the dream but would still be very happy with raya. Kim would again be superb and building out the back won’t be relied on a midfielder to drop in like eriksen. Dalot I think next season will be break out year as I see him inverting of the right like how he did on the left. Mount for me is a super signing but we need to be careful with the price but I see him thriving next season for the reds. Striker I would love to see hojlund as is a years time if we miss this deal I see him being around 100m there’s a reason peaple call him the next haaland and Rashford for the mean time can play at striker giving players like sancho game time to try and find form and even though I think he is a few seasons off I see Rashford being the number 9 for Erik 10 hag
Spot on
Keep it up Dave🤟🏽💯
Loved the video Dave👊
Great analysis Dave, as ALWAYS! I hope @manutd are watching this. With this squad it'll be a beauty to watch United every weekend. Now Over to you EtH.
This would be so great if we could bag all these signings. Kane, Sancho, Rashford, Mount and Shaw playing with each other week in week out would be a huge benefit to England too. Unfortunately i don't see Man Utd signing this many high cost players this window, probably one or two and then some youngsters/squad players. Hopefully be better placed in January if new owners are in.
Mount seems to be going for around 40-50mil. Problem is Kane would be so expensive, that would be nice if Kim, Kane and Mount could join. Mount would be able to help play alongside Fernandes in that 433 that Ten Hag has been trying to move the club to. Plus Kane would help the front line look fluid since he likes to drop deeper to help build up. It would be a dream transfer window
Top drawer stuff as always Dave. Though I think EtH actually does prefer AWB over Dalot. Especially given the run of games he had down the stretch. I also think Kane is out of the question unless the Qatari’s take over (which I don’t want btw). Think Levy is just going to want way too much for him. I think we could double sign Hojland and Thurman for the less. Gives you a good goal scorer now and one for the future.
I also think Mount would be a good fit, but I wouldn’t want to pay more than 40m for him. Maddison might also be a good option in the attacking mindset instead of Mount. And could potentially poach Lavia from Southampton after they’ve been relegated.
I think KMJ and solving the #9 situation are the absolute keys IMO. I think De Gea can still be serviceable given another good ball playing CB in front of him. And heck if you wanted to be risky we could give Kovar some play. He was outstanding for Sparta this year.
KMJ is looking elsewhere than MU.
Brilliant first 11. Only change I'd make is AWB for Dalot...
Expect our transfer team to sit on their arses just like every year and start "negotiating" a day before the transfer window closes
Actually solid and i subbed straight away and liked because this is exactly how i would like man utd to line-up next ssn
Great vid!!!
Great analysis as always. Unless we get a top striker (Kane or Osimhen) I'd like to see Rashford as the striker and finding a backup like Hojlund, with Garnacho and Sancho competing on the left. With Kane, Rashford could score 40 goals.
No he couldn’t, he isn’t that good
We cannot go another season as rashford being our no 9. We need Kane.
He will never be a reliable striker.... If I was in charge I would be giving everything to bring Kane ( plus Hojlund) instead of wasting time trying to overpay for Mount
@@directorme6669 I wouldn't worry about that. Both Kane and Mount have one year left on their contract, if Chelsea and Spurs play hardball, then they'll risk losing them for free in 2024. United have all the cards here, they just need to make sure they don't fall for their bluff.
@@siphemanana2551 seems like you haven't been following Man united transfer business for long. Overpaying is Man united middle name... Very easy to manipulate them into overpaying
Even with 2 months remaining, Man united would easily pay 100-120M for Kane
Very realistic outlook 👏👏
Nice one Dave
Interesting point about Sancho being better with players around him to link with. Why is it that he's always seemed so much more comfortable and better on the right, even with our tendency to have more players on the left then? Seems like he'd be the opposite way around being more comfortable on the left and less on the right without as much support
Full with logic. Well done
Nice 1 Dave 👍❤️
Much love ❤

I have seen most of your Twitts on Manchester United app, which means the club acknowledges your analysis maybe more influential in that club than I thought why don't you please share this idea with the team technical department to reach The coach maybe it can help going forward cause I'm sure here it's only we the fans that's enjoying and dreaming what you're analyzing. As always, bravo 👏 kudos Stat Man Dave
Brilliant show.
wonderful video. more realistic considering the situation we are in now.
Sell Sancho,Martial, Scot, Bailly,Telles, Henderson,DeGea, Elanga and VDB. Might keep Fred he provides a different angle to games.
Get Mount,Hojlund (and Kane if possible), Kim, one CDM (not sure which one) and GK .
Pellistri , Amad ,Zidane should get more first team chances.
Nice one Dave !!, Personally would try and sign Rasmus Højlund (40M) instead of spending 100M+ on Kane (Get him free on next summer) !!. Rather would try and spend the cash on Kimmich for (80-100M) this way United could use him versatile as a RB and CDM based on the team tactics !!. Could save up the cash on signing Andre and Prefer to sign Tielemans (free agent) and Rabiot (free agent) for free (Squad depth) !! Mount, Kim Min Jae, and Diogo Costa would be top signings IMO !!. IF United plans to cash in on Mason Greenwood would prefer to sign Jonathan David (60M or Swap Deal)
Costa 50M
Kim 50M
Mount 55M
Kane 100M
Maguire 25M
Henderson 20M
Mctominay 30M
Martial 20M
Others 20M
100M+
Perfect starting XI, with Axel Disasi, Varane and Lindelof as backup in defence. Diogo Costa fighting de Gea for no one spot. Romeo Lavia or Andre as backup to Casemiro, Mount and Bruno with Eriksen, Mainoo and Fred as Backup. On left side, Rashford & Garnacho, on the right we have Antony & Sancho, up front we need Kane with Højlund as backup and McNeil as the understudy. If the budget helps, get another young striker/winger for up front for depth.
Well analyzed bro but uncertainty with take over still problem.
For me kane as ST and a back up of gift orban will sort out our striking problems, with the addition of caicedo and mount in the midfield, maybe get rabiot of a free could also settle our midfield issues,I'd give a thumb to get costa but i can admit he's not really a priority this summer so getting kim min jae is a must and I'd also love for levi colwill to come in as his partner, love love martinez but i think we need qualities all over the field in even reserved positions, plus there'd be games where we need the heights
Dave is lowkey a united fan😂😂🔥We appreciate your videos man
I think Ten Hag will play a 4 3 3 formation next season with 2 number 8's with our defence playing a high line to help Casemiro. That will mean we need a sweeper keeper.
I think we need to sign Costa, Kim Min Jae, Mount, Amrabat, Hojlund & Kolo Muani. I can't see Kane joining us.
I think Costa could be one of the most important signings this window. Would have a similar effect to Alison at Liverpool
Costa and Matej Kovar
Since Kim is tempted to join Bayern munich I think he should pursue Bremer from Juventus or Jurren Timber from Ajax and should pursue Dusan Vlahovic
Would love to see videos like this one for other PL teams and others around Europe, maybe scouting reports on who'll be a good watch next season in UCL like Sociedad, Berlin and Lens.
especially lens..they are really solid.
great analysis Dave but don't you think Rasmus is a safer option considering spurs have a new coach?
Dave,
We need a list of budget players and free agents that can come in to fill up the players that left last season and during this this season.
Crazy how we have spent over 200 mil plus on wingers yet we still need two new starting wingers !
What I really think we need is midfield dominance we lack that a lot, we need a dominant box to box midfielder who can carry the ball (progressive carries) and still be technically sound. I think Milinkovic-Savic, Declan Rice, Kangin lee and maybe Valverde but it will be hard for that deal and then we need depth in casemiro's position am thinking Sofyan Amrabat will be a good option on the bench.
If we get;
Diogo Costa
Kim Min Jae
Harry Kane
Rasmus Hojlund
It will be great also
Kim Min Jae Is looking other solutions than MU.
We surely do need Costa his ball playing/distribution (out of this world)
I think this video is excellent! I think Wan Bissaka is a better fullback overall than Dalot to be honest and after how he ended the season he deserves the starting spot going into next year but should be a good battle
Dave could u do a breakdown of midfield transfer targets like Caicedo, Le fee and kokcu
Manu kone and kephram thuram too
Amazing video, hit the nail on the head with exactly what we need. I think the most important signing will also be the hardest one to get in Kane, as I don’t believe anyone would suit that team as well as he does. The rest are definitely achievable
If that analyze of mount thriving on right hits spot on, this will be great for us, we just arent getting a striker for now, gk is also unreliable as we dont have budget without selling, kim min jae already gone to bayern due to our budget we have to ignore the cb spot
Great video
Kane ll do wonders in United
Rasmus Hojulnd as a backup striker like Alvares
It ll release pressure from Rashford and he can play more freely...
Hope they get Kane ,Mount, Kim and De Costa
Remember Ten hag wanted the team to be ruthless...i wish he makes this window count
Kim Min Jae is way far to become a M.United player!
Given the difficulty involved in signing both Kane and Mount, we may have to end up waiting till next summer to sign both on a free transfer.
I think Franck Kessie and Rasmus Højlund would be great alternatives, in the meanwhile; and add strength and depth to our squad for the foreseeable!
Dave, you are the best ever.
Dave,where's the t shirt from ?
As much as I agree that DDG should be improved on, a replacement being bought is extremely unlikely, especially with DDG likely to be getting a new deal. NVM the farce which is the sale of the club.
Also Dave, what are your thoughts on Axel Disasi, heard we were linked to him. Looks a bit too raw to be a regular starting CB.
We are not getting Costa, a backup for sure to give a genuine challenge but no way with as many holes as we have will break the bank for a goalkeeper of all positions. No use in having more possession if we can’t utilize the possession we have now
Costa, KMJ, Kane and a cm preferably someone better than Mount would be my choices too
Please make this happen Dave. I know you have the power.
I think Man Utd are a dark horse for the champions league next season. Their low backline (despite Ten Hag's ideals) has been very effective in keeping clean sheets, which I think is one of the most important factors in cup success. They have already had success in the cups this season and if they can, 1: Get a reliable #9, 2: Get a more resilient mentality, and 3: Pray to whatever gods Sevilla holds. Then, I don't know... cup treble?
So in conclusion, bring back Mourinho and AHOUNDRED MORE YEARS OF SUFFER BALL UPON YOUR HOUSE!
Also, I'm not saying a low backline is generally good, but Man Utd have generally succeded with one. It would be a shame if they threw it away without building on it.
Keeping my hopes up that Utd's recruitment team will pull their fingers out this window and get the deals done early. We need the sale to be concluded ASAP.
AWB is one of the best backs in the league, its like people just didnt watch any United games last season.
Yea I think if we sign Kane, Mount, a CB,another midfielder maybe Rabiot and a GK to compete with DDG. It’ll be a good start, I don’t think we can compete- we can close the gap with the difference in the goals and hopefully can play better and consistently. Progression next year and then hopefully build on that
Can you do a video on Todibo and how he will fit at United?
Amongst the signings I would surely like Frimpong - Mad pace on the right...him being on Right will turn it a lob-sided 3 at the back with Shaw pushing inwards in attacking transition...a 3-1-4-2 ..against the low blocks..!
Where did rumors about him joining United disappear to? I like him. He's modern and he would fit into ETH Ajax style of play
@@directorme6669 like other rumors evaporate for United..but yeah he would be a great positve...specially considering United's right flank has been unused real estate for 9 years since Valencia shifted to being a RB...we are very left side dominant in our creative play...!
@@arpitk2470 with our financial restrictions and Bissaka 'APPARENT IMPROVEMENT' I don't think we're getting a right back
I like Bissaka but just like De Gea, he will never be completely modern... I wanted him to stay primarily for use in certain games when playing tricky left wingers like Mitoma, Mbappe, vinicious
YOUR THE BEST ❤
Onana over Diego Costa his passing out was really good against city
SCARF ACE!
Costa passing to Rashford only for him to not jump for the ball will be awesome! Can't wait!
Let's see stats comparisons on AWB ball usage compared to dalots
We need a video of the players to go on sale. Martial and etc.
Varane will start if healthy
Please make a video about Who should Postecoglou sign at Spurs
Do a vid on spurs and postecoglou for next season
Think Kudus could be good at Man United. Good relationship with Ten Hag too from Ajax days and he'll be solid at Manchester United and in the prem
The enthusiasm when you said Harry Kane is what I came for🙂
When do people realise that the midfielder we need is not in the Mason Mount build. If we are going to get any better in possession, we need a deep lying playnaker/ball progressor like De Jong or Ruben Neves. This is not anything like Mount or any of the midfielders we are being linked with. Mount doesnt have the passing range.
We as a club rarely buy players directly from South American football leagues due to visa issues in England. That is why I don't expect our club to sign a player like André next season.
Should do the same type of video for arsenal and Newcastle
Our forward line needs serious investment. We were the lowest-scoring team in the top 6 this season and well behind City (36 more) and Arsenal (30 more). Costa and Kim are great shouts.
The spillover effects of Benzema’s departure might cause some inflation in the European center forward market. Particularly Harry Kane might be costly with sudden interest from Real Madrid.
@statman dave wish you was our director of football bro
as if harry kane isn't famously known to have ankle injuries, there's always risks to signing world class players but being able to provide that high level output for longer is what's important in my opinion, fr zlatan ronaldo cavani all elite but much older when they cam e to play for the club (ronaldos a returning player i know)
What about Matt O'riley as a box to box ball playing midfielder as an alternative to play alongside casemiro?
Great video, what about Mason Greenwood?
Love it - wish!
Base on his description of Harry Kane it fairs to say Big Ben is not of this world..😢
Comparing stats from one league to stats in another is ludicrous. Also, looking a stats over a 4 game stretch (like Sancho's last 4 games) is a statistical error. Other than that, good video.
The one and only I have seen denouncing Bissaka
what about backup for bruno and antony?
Being in Kim, joao a young goalie and mount and that’s a 20/10 window
I dont think you should sell Varane. I think you could switch between the three cb’s
You should have given an alternative to Kane since we know Daniel Levy doesn't like selling to PL rivals and also Man Utd have FFP to deal with possibly due to the last summer transfer window
is mount really the best option ?
Kane will score goals anywhere, focus on getting him rather then wanting everyone and ending up with nowt.
I have doubts that Dalot will secure the first-choice position for right back. Dalot, in my opinion, does not possess the required skills for playing at the highest level. He is a mediocre defender and lacks proficiency in attacking as well. Additionally, he lacks the strong personality needed for clubs like Manchester United. While Harry Kane would be a dream acquisition, having Hojlund rotate with Rashford at the top would also be a fantastic addition.
Iteration work bro but I disagree on the formation, ten hag and the Dutch style is 4-3-3 that’s why ten hag wants mount
Noticed that you keep putting Dalot over Bissaka... that battle has been won; Aaron is first choice and deservedly so.
Short term yes but long term when we have a new keeper building out the back will be relied on the defence not like an eriksen and Awb just isn’t at that level and dalot has shown when played at left back he can invert very well so 10 hag will most like want him to do the same on the right but Awb is still a superb back up who bring something completely different
If Kane and Rice come to United is gonna be Elite Squad and Im a Man United fan so its great for me
Dalot's shit we need better on top of a midfield of Federico Redondo, Romeo Lavia, Caicedo, Kim Min Jae, Diogo Costa or Sanchez at Brighton (cheaper) and Kane
We´re not signing a keeper this Summer, lets try and be real about our Summer business. A center back, a Casemiro alternative, a Eriksen upgrade and a striker if we´re lucky.
🔥
As great as Kane would be, I don't think there's any chance we'll get him, particularly if Ratcliffe takes over. Getting Hojlund in and using Rashford as the main striker would be a great move imo. Hojlund can adapt to the prem with time, and when he does come in Rashford can be moved out left, while we strengthen the core of the squad more heavily in other areas. There's no point getting Kane if it means the foundations of the squad stay more or less the same.
Reliable on Hojlund and Rashford and all of a sudden expecting lots of goals would be stupid
Rashford is a winger
