- A family is speaking out after the tragic loss of their 4-year-old daughter just days ago. They continue to seek answers as to what went wrong.
Now, they're hoping to encourage other families to advocate for their children; especially when it comes to their health.
Maisie was their 'miracle baby.' They had her through IUI. Her birthday, July 25th, the family's 'Christmas in July.'
But her parents noticed at a young age she got sick and stayed sick longer than other kids. And just days ago, the unthinkable happened.

It is sickening how we have to beg doctors to listen to us!😢
I can’t count how many times I told the doctor something was wrong with my daughter. After many years, we found out she has POTS, EDS, and autism. I’m so sorry for them. It’s so sad.
There’s nothing wrong with autistic people. But I hope she’s doing ok with the POTS and the EDS
@Juliette_Ba I think she just means, listen to your gut on anything that could be happening with your kids.
If u have to convince or explain what a Dr is telling u is wrong, get the hell out and go find another one that will listen..Nurse Practitioners is who I’d take my kids too…they are better than a dr any day of the week..we r at the forefront of healthcare…if u feel somthing is wrong, it IS !!!
I have all 3 myself and took years to get actual diagnoses
I have EDS
Oh Lord, NO!!!! I'M 😭 BAWLING!!!! I AM SO SO VERY VERY SORRY!!!!! I have a 4yo daughter and I could not imagine what y'all are going through!!!! I'm praying for healing and peace for your whole family!!!!!!
Amen.
My grand daughter has had cold symptoms since February. She gets better then gets cold symptoms again. She's got it again today. The doctor thought she had asthma. Then another check up she said it was severe allergies. I don't know what's going but I believe in Jesus and praying daily for her health and healing.
I give this family my deepest sympathy and love for thier loss of thier precious baby girl. It's just heartbreaking 💔 😢 🥺❤️🩹❤️🔥🙌🙏
My daughter has been going thru the EXACT same symptoms for about 3 years. She's 6. They did tonsils and adenoid surgeries..they thought allergies...right b4 Easter, they put a nebulizer on her and thought maybe asthma and now they're finally sending us for a lung x-ray after we have been asking for years. Please keep us in your prayers and of course we will be praying for your granddaughter. I believe there's power in prayer.
+trishherbert6310 and +robin4039v I 100% believe in the power in prayer too, but make sure nothing runs on either your side or your daughters' father's side of the family that might be potentially be contributing to both your daughters' symptoms.
Check with everyone in the family to see what runs it. I recently learned from 1 of my cousin that colon cancer def. runs in our family. Colon cancer polyps alone run on both my mom and dad's side of the family. I'm not saying this causes symptoms like that, but definitely check w/everyone who's still alive to make sure there's nothing that runs on your side of the family or someone else's.
Ik everyone's situations/circumstances are different, but it's good to be mindful of things like that whther it be say colon cancer, lung cancer, potential heart and/or kidney problems. Yes, it's unfortunate and prob. not very common for young children to say have heart or kidney problems, but it's def. possible for them to have issues like these esp. if/when it may run in the family.

Ot could be pneumonia
I'm sure this isn't really relevant here. But the chemicals they put in our food hurts us all.
My son had similar issues from birth. Pneumonia three times before the age of three. The last time he got really sick he got the same cold virus she had and he ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. They did extensive blood work and we found out he had very low immunity to pneumonia and viral asthma. Now he’s on a daily inhaler and immunotherapy. My heart goes out to the family.
Sounds like she had some kind of immune system problem. Her pediatrician should have sent her to an immunologist long ago.
I agree.
Hard to do that with how much sick crap is going on
That seems like the first thing any pediatrician SHOULD have thought of, here in the 2020s. Back when dinosaurs still stomped the earth, when my siblings and classmates would be sick with something for a couple of days, I'd be sick for a couple of months, and the symptoms would be unrelenting. I was born with bad lungs, so the lungs were often the focal point of any illness, although I made a real mess out of myself with measles (before my first birthday, so I missed the vaccine), mumps (severely impaired vision and hearing - temporary), and chicken pox (I seemed to be more blister than non-blister, from my scalp to the soles of my feet) as well, along with possible rheumatic fever and notoriously ill-timed bouts with tonsillitis. Allergy season would devolve into bronchitis, sometimes all the way to mild anaphylaxis.
It's tough waking up with a profoundly constricted airway, not knowing if it's going to get worse or better, but being afraid to wake your soundly-sleeping parents to take you to the emergency room because it will scare the bejabbers out of them and you don't want to do that to them.
As it turns out, it was my autoimmune system overreacting to everything. The Cytokine Storm. It stays fairly well under control when I eat wisely, get lots of sleep, and take zinc supplements, but that program is not fool-proof. There's been a lot of inflammatory damage done, and it continues to rage primarily in my arm muscles -- something called "polymyositis".
People everywhere: If you can do ANYTHING about it, DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU, or to anyone you know. Find a reputable doctor who specializes in the immune system. The sooner you pull the reins in on a hyperactive immune system, the less the chance you are going to do irreversible damage to yourself.
@@SLOTHDADDY2020it’s not hard to do at all! It’s the job of the physicians to do their very best to give full care of that little girl! They took her there to find out what was wrong and they just say “there’s nothing I can do just take her home give her some cold meds and fluids/rest”
The doctors where I live are terrible with that! Just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible without any care in the world how you’ll be the next day! If you don’t speak up they won’t do anymore than THEY feel like doing in that moment! I’ve come across ONE doctor in my area that has been thorough!
So sorry May God comfort you in this difficult time
Rest in peace, princess. Gone too soon.
My deepest condolences to the family, for whatever it's worth.
There was water damage in a apartment we lived in and my husband was always sick we moved and he never was sick any more
Check the house for mold
Wouldn't everyone else be sick too? Especially her brother
@@cassandrawhittington3372 yes I believe all they would. Especially the brother.
That's what I was thinking
True. Because she was very sensitive and always sick
It wasn’t mold. She had the pneumovirus
I cannot fathom this level of pain, sorrow, devastation, and grief. My heart goes out to all of this little one’s loved ones.
Lots of adults and kids are getting sick and staying sick this past 2 years. 😢
My dad has been sick for a few weeks. started off as a cold then he didn’t know if it was the flu. he’s still not feeling right. i’m not sure what’s going around but it’s kicking peoples butts. This poor family. i am heartbroken for them
It's called vax injury.
Since mRNA
Stop injecting poison into the children! We have a perfect body capable of healing, so WHY inject things into them starting at birth.... seriously think about that!
Vax is evil
I wonder if she suffered from auto immune disease . I have many auto immune diseases and this describes me to a T. Someone across the st can cough and id get sick most are sick a few days for me it could last a month. This is heartbreaking. I pray they find some answers and are able to have some sort of peace. ❤❤
I know what you mean. I was born with Sjogren's Syndrome and Asperger's Syndrome in the late 1950s. The Sjogren's Syndrome wasn't diagnosed until I was 21 in 1978. When I was 18 years old, I almost died from Addison's Disease. Now I'm 67 and I have 5 autoimmune diseases. I have always healed 3 times slower than normal. When I was growing up, I caught every cold and flu that went around. A cold virus would last for a month and the flu lasted longer than that. Yes, I agree with you completely that if a child keeps getting sick that often and for that long, she or he needs to see an immunologist. I also pray that they'll find some answers.
I wondered that also. I'm truly sorry for her parents.
My heart breaks for this family. ❤ Sending prayers.
They should get an autopsy. RIP 💐
For sure. It will likely be swept under the rug.
The incompetent health "professionals."
Doctors don't pay attention to the patients anymore they dismiss everything we need better physicians who are caring not just about money.
It's normal for kids to get sick lots during cold and flu season, especially following all of the covid quarantines. I think it's probably a difficult decision for Doctors to know which kids will get sick enough to pass away. This is an extremely rare occurrence, thankfully . So sad 😞 I hope the family gets some answers.
Medics are overwhelmed- They give the quickest answers-... next
Give them a break...they are doing what the check boxes say

One would think that if the supernatural, omnipotent "god" were, she'd still be alive.
@@CharGC123you sure are threatened by God. If he’s “not real”, why do you people even comment?? Your comment doesn’t remotely reflect sympathy, and it’s disrespectful to the family who lost a child.
@@CharGC123 Perhaps not. Perhaps God took her to spare her some unfathomable pain later in life, and even to spare her parents something worse than what they are experiencing right now.

I'd like to know how many shots she's received through her life. So sorry for your loss🙏
Too many
We shouldn’t have to fight so hard to get proper medical care. This happens all the time and shouldn’t be happening at all. My heart is broken for this family. They tried to get her help and doctors just assume nothing is wrong instead of trying or recommending a specialist. Prayers for this family.
I hope others see this and recognize it and call in.
What a tragedy...I have no words...I pray the family can find peace in the future...
So sorry for your unspeakable loss.
So many young people dying suddenly. Does anyone see what's going on here? Wake up people. It's going to be happening more and more. Everyone is in LaLa Land.
Sending loving thoughts and prayers 🙏❤️
Parents shouldn't have to fight for medical care. The doctors should be held accountable. I went through this with my oldest. She now fights for medical care for her children that have the same issues.
She got medical care. Medical care doesn’t save everyone.
If you have pneumonia, being intubated isn’t the best idea.. 😢 i refused that ‘option’ in dec with severe pneumonia.. my pulmonologist had agreed/ you need to stay elevated, be on hi low machine for monitoring, meds, etc., with active efforts of expelling mucous.. so sorry for this family 🙏🫶🏻
Sincere condolences 🙏
Medical gaslighting is unreal!😡💔💔
So terribly sorry for your loss.
She got Staff infection in the hospital after she was admitted! This was on top of the virus. Listen to the beginning of the news report. She was also intubated and drugged, sound familiar? Was this the same hospital where 11 children died from flaccid myelitis? In 2019 or 2020. ( 11 children died in the pediatric disabled ward during the pandemic, not from Covid)
I wonder if she got the shot
🙏 Rest in Peace Maisie...Condolences to the Family
Heartbreaking, may you find comfort during this most different time
Sometimes doctors can be uneducated to certain illness, if you feel something is not right keep pushing your primary doctor to find a specialist that can help you. For eight months my husband suffered from autoimmune disease, our primary kept diagnosing him wrong, I kept looking for a specialist and found one that diagnosed my husband with wegner disease, it’s rare and it can kill you. His kidneys were shutting down, he stayed in the hospital for two weeks for chemo treatment. He’s doing good now.
So sorry 😭 RIP sweet angel 👼🙏🏻!

I honestly have found it very disgusting 🤢 thing to happen is a 4 year old girl 👧 has died because it’s a completely waste of life. It’s upsetting thing to happen. Dying at the age of 4 years old isn’t supposed to happen because babies 👶 👶 👶 👶 and children 👦 👧 🧒 👧 👦 are supposed to grow up 🆙 into adults 🧑 👩 👨 🧔♂️ 🧔 🧔♀️ 👵 👨🦳. The little girl 👧 can rest in peace 🪦 heaven. 👍
Sadly kids die. Like adults do
Humans die before birth and after birth at any age! This is tragic but, doctors are not all-knowing, she could have had hundreds of tests and still not discover the exact problem that lead to her passing!
Maybe it was related to her unusual mode of conception? Play with nature and things can go wrong. I started my career in pediatric cancer units. Infants were born with brain tumors. So unicorns and butterflies isn't real life.
She is with the Heavenly Father. 🙏
amen!
Stop it with your make-believe, childish, fantasy, religious BS. Grow up!
one day you will regret those words. God is real and one day when you die you will stand before Him in all His holiness and your fate will be sealed. by rejecting Jesus Christ you will have chosen and eternity in the lake of fire. bad choice.@@crow9553

R.I.P. Little One! My condolences and prayers to the family, and friends. I'm sorry for your loss.
All children need genetic testing at birth. Most, I'd say 95% of doctor's don't even test for something rare. A good diagnostician is nearly impossible to find these days. I've been in healthcare for 30+ years and it's even hard for me to put my finger on the reason. Laziness, sorry but some generations do the least work necessary. Not properly educated, I see doctor's who did 2 years remote learning during covid not have a clue. Educated to be pill pushers, maybe one of the worst of all. I swear pharmaceutical companies must set up an office at all medical schools. It's absolutely gross. And finally greedy practicioners who won't perform tried and true methods because insurance companies have stopped paying extra for a service like a rectal exam that has become part of a physical for 50 years. Don't get me started on physicals where the patient is fully clothed and the doctor only touches the patient with a stethoscope for a moment. What if their feet are blue from lack of circulation, they'll never know.
Doctors, medical practitioners nowadays are just interested in making quota. They rush out their patients as fast as they could, not really doing a thorough examination, the most they do is write prescriptions. It's all abt the money now 😖
May she rest in peace. I feel so bad for the family.......... this is so tragic!
GOD bless her and her family

Genetic testing sounds like a good idea. She could have had some form of congenital immune disorder or maybe cystic fibrosis. Eather way, doctors should have done those tests before, of course.
ECMO? ICU RN here.. ECMO??! ... she had to have some kind of underlying autoimmune or respiratory issue.
how cld they not suspect something wrong w/ a lil one sick so often..c/b heart issue?
I'll never forget the 52 year old man we had in January of 2020 and nobody could figure out what was wrong with him everyday I went to work he was worse and worse wound up on ECMO well we didn't know then but we would have known soon after he probably had covid and we didn't know it. Not at all inferring to this case but when a little kid is sick a lot there's usually something off. my heart is breaking for this beautiful doll

Interesting that she was four years old and apparently had autoimmune type issues then this virus that was so similar to what we’ve experienced recently. Had she had any mandatory school enrollment treatments? Could that have affected her immune system? Did her mom have specific treatments while pregnant? Those could be clues, especially the fact that she had strokes. Were they clot strokes or lack of oxygen? I hope you find answers.
May God’s peace be with all of you and may He always hold your baby in His loving and merciful arms.
