- The coronavirus claimed the life of a 9-year-old boy in Texas. According to his parents, J.J. Boatman was his usual vibrant self just two days before his death, but his parents say he started having breathing problems. They took him to an emergency room in Vernon, Texas, but his condition was deteriorating quickly. J.J. was flown to a children’s hospital in Fort Worth, but his parents say there was nothing the medical staff could do for him. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more. #InsideEdition

this is so sad. to the people who say “Covid is overrated” it really isn’t. And it’s UNFAIR to say that when people literally have a chance at DYING because of it. The people who believe they’re strong enough for Covid may survive it BUT they still have a chance of spreading Covid to more vulnerable people (especially since some don’t experience symptoms until later on). It’s not only about yourself. But it’s also about the OTHERS.
It is overrated and for a reason. It just depends on your luck and your immune system. I had Corona, and I was "lucky" to have survived.

Lord, Father I pray for these parents, i ask of you to give them grace and peace. And give them the type of strength that only you can grant them. This really hit me hard because I have a beautiful 9 year old little guy and can't even fathom the thought. That little boy was so adorable and seemed so sweet may he be in peace. My father just recently passed away from covid, but he was 74 and at least lived his life. But this little boy was just beginning. My heart is broken 💔😞

it's so sad. My fiance's sisters both think COVID is a joke! His father already caught COVID from work and his grandparents caught COVID from going to the doctors for necessary treatments and appointments. Luckily we haven't lost anyone yet personally. I take all the precautions and I still got Covid-19 and this is coming from a type 1 diabetic, one of the most at risk for the virus.
