- A view of the Shorth North (North Strathfield to Broadmeadow) along the iconic Mullet Creek. I was rostered to work CA68 from Clarence Colliery to Broadmeadow Yard with a return on TM83 from Broadmeadow to Tahmoor Colliery after booking off.
Oh the Memories, i completed a lot of Resurfacing and straight rail of turnouts through that area back in my day👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
What beautiful countryside and what a clean roadbed!
The roadbed is a credit to Sydney Trains for keeping it clean.
Very pretty area.
Line surveyed and built in the 1880s. Still useful today ! John Whitton was an engineering genius.
Meadowbank Bridge and Como Bridge John Whitton was responsible? Far out!!
Looks like some good waters for fishing are along the way. Would not mind a courtesy ride on such a train. Hook up two passenger cars and a caboose. Looks like fun.
Gus thanks for sharing!
How to get a traineeship?!
I so want to do this!!!!
In the late sixty's I travelled from Woy Woy to Chullora (Elcar) to work
Thanks for posting! Two thumbs down? Two villages are missing their idiots.
Hi Jenny, you can't please everyone, I've been signed off as a driver in the Hunter Valley, stay tuned for some Hunter Valley cab rides in the not too distant future.
@@B10Mman there was already 2 around the Hunter, 1 was to Pelton & 1 was to Teralba Borehole until they got taken down
Hey Mike, I was wondering if you could do me a favor. I'm doing a project for high school where I have to interview someone who works as my dream job, that being a driver for Pacific National.
I was just wondering if I could ask you a few questions about working on the rails. I fully understand if you're not interested.
Sure, I'm up for that, anyrhing to help with a school project. My email is gusbunzel@gmail.com send me an email with your questions and I'll answer them for you.
I have a lot of hay fever this year better leave it to global warming
