Cab View - NCIG (Kooragang Island) to Maitland 2020

Cab view of the run from NCIG departures on the Kooragang branch to Maitland on the Main North Line.
This route takes you over the Hunter River, not far upstream of Newcastle Harbour; under the Pacific Highway just after the river; over Ironbark Creek at Sandgate and underneath the New England Highway twice.
Stations seen, in order, are Sandgate, Hexham, Tarro, Beresfield though obscured by an on coming unit, Thornton, Metford, Victoria Street, East Maitland, High Street and Maitland. The line branches southwest towards Cessnock and the region known as the Coalfields via the South Maitland Railway, seen on the left near the end of the footage; and to the North Coast line to Brisbane, seen on the right near the end of the footage.

I can tell this video has been sped up! Where there's a view of cars on the highway to the right, those cars are barrelling along at speeds that would make a radar speed cop *very* dizzy indeed! LOL😁

Thanks for posting. Nice to be up front on the "other" lines. Not much passenger or freight activity. Was this on a Sunday?

I could try and decrease the speed but the quality would be reduced. As I only use my phone with limited storage I use the time lapse feature to capture as much distance as possible. I'll see what I can do though, I'll let you know if I'm successful.
