“Very old “ was my negative for a 42 old Benjamin Bunny yeah 1982 makes it vintage and old just as per description. Several phone calls explaining 20 to 100 is vintage then it’s antique. Duh and eventually eBay removed.
The person who bought your Walmart bunny contacted me as well. I sold one in teal a few months ago. He said he contacted the person who bought the one from me, and they sold it to him as well. What a neat thing for him to do ❤

I hit a subdivision garage sale yesterday. It's a huge sub with non-connected sections twisting around lakes, etc. Impossible to plan a route. And yes, i started walking up a driveway after squinting from my car "did i go to this one already?" Yes, i had! 😂

Mercari is actually my second best platform (albeit, Ebay is FAR and away my best platform) but I work Mercari pretty hard. I recently did a pie chart of my different marketplaces, Ebay is 64% of my sales, Mercari is 18%, Facebook is 11%, Poshmark is 6%, and Etsy is 1%. Congratulations on the awesome sales!

I use UPS surepost it’s only $7.99 for a 2 lbs package on Mercari .
It depends on the sz of the package. I got hit for overage on a box that was 13X8X4. They charged me 7.00 more in shipping
I've sold more on Mercari since the change than I sold all last year (because I finally finished crosslisting)! Definitely get those listings moved over, Mama!

You sell what you love. And I love selling vintage Christmas, Halloween, Just this year I went to more Jewelry items. I use to sell all clothing, So yes a mix is better I think to. Congrats on your sales.
I picked up some jewelry at an estate sale Friday. Adding more of that kind of stuff to my store would be nice.

I only list things 1 lb or less on Mercari as well and have for quite some time.
Well I said don't give up on Mercari and the sales slowed down a bit on there. 😅 I do have rather nice spurts on there though so not really sure what the trick is! Your sales are amazing! Trying to increase my listings per day also. Went to a rummage sale yesterday and back again today....they had so much amazing plush! I found a bunny rabbit like your best made teddy bear there! Enjoy your much needed break!

I just listed the pastel rainbow racer. I washed it multiple times but couldn’t get the feet clean. 2 of them have some discoloration.

So those vintage LPS I use to think they were Barbie pets. For some reason I had it made up in my mind that's what it was lol so I squirelled it away with my Barbies that I collect lol my teen one said I was mean cause I knew she collected LPS and I had tons of vintage LPS I was keeping from her and not even letting her look at them lol 😅 I was like what are you talking about 😮 and I told her to show me. She's 17 so of course I let her have them lol but she taught me something that day & I felt so bad she's carried that feeling towards me this whole time cause she thought I was doing it knowing it was LPS 😅
I will add she has felt like I was keeping them from her since about the age of 6 lol

I am glad your store is doing good. My sales have been dead. I got over 8500 items, do sales promotions & send offers. I list 25 items a day. Im not sure what more i can do. I actually had more sales on Mercari than ebay yesterday

I went this morning to buy a plush that I got an offer from a seller on Mercari. The offer was 58.50 and by the time all the fees and shipping was added, the total was a little over 80 dollars. I was planning on selling some of my Jellycats on there, but now I feel like all those fees would be shocking to anyone who would want to buy from me. I really don't like eBay because I have issues as a buyer and seller, but I might have to go back.
I guess we just need to keep in mind that the buyers on Mercari are willing to pay it if they really want it.

Wouldn't it be cool if ebay had a way where we could tell our west coast buyers (of something over a pound) "I'll pay $4 of your calculated shipping cost". One could factor that in when listing (over a pound). I would be happy to do that for buyers to be competitive. They could make it an opt-in program.
I've tried free shipping for everything and I'll never do it again.
Changing it to the discounted shipping rate has helped me tremendously with my heavier items.
