    My kid just got his first jeep, a ’21 sport, I think I’m gonna build this for him, good stuff!!

    Great job but, the cut list is inaccurate. On the 18” pcs, only cut 7 not 17. I’m sure it was a typo

    This exactly what I'm looking to build for my 2 door Wrangler JL. Do you have a modified pieces measurements and count for a 2 door version for full doors?

  • @Axstrolane

    That looks really easy to build

    Do not use this video to build your storage solution. Specs are incorrect

    I have a question we went by The paper you showed at the beginning of the video saying that We needed 17...18" long PVC pipes I don't see where you used to 17 It looks to me like you only use the 18" pipes across the top which means you only need 5, And then 2 on the bottom which makes a total of 7. So we have 10 pieces left I don't understand why we needed so many?

    @dbrouwer4345 Před rokem +6

    Tony, Great video but these dimensions will absolutely NOT work for the JLU. The doors are much thicker and won't even be close to fitting. I learned the hard way after completing the project.

      @dawg2288 Před 11 měsíci

      What dimensions did you use then? I’m getting ready to make one

      @dawg2288 Each bay I made 9" in between the verticals. The cart had to be extended 8" on both ends to keep the pvc from sagging.

    • @CrummyArchitect
      @CrummyArchitect Před 11 měsíci

      I did the same, I built this for my JLU, and when I was putting it together I was like there's no way these doors are gonna fit in these slots (with the handle and the arm rest on the interior) but I proceeded...and I was right. Feels like each gap needs an extra 3". Ugh.

      @@dbrouwer4345How did you extend the cart?

    It says 17 of the 18 inch pieces not 7, You should correct that in your video.

    Has anyone done this with a Bronco 4D? Any modifications?

    • @rossgunderson5575
      @rossgunderson5575 Před 11 měsíci

      Just built it for my 4D bronco...not wide enough. So on your cut list, I guess it will need to be a bit longer.

    17 x 18" pipe cuts? Oh well, besides that, a decent plan...

  • @Riegs36
    @Riegs36 Před rokem +1

    Don't cut 17 of 18" only cut 7 that's all you need

    I cut before laying it out. I now have 10 extra useless sections 😂

  • @wadeholley2348

    The cut list says 17 but you only need 7. We wasted money cutting 17.

    Don’t know what all the JLU peeps are talking about. My ‘23 doors fit. Gonna add carpet/foam and a cart but wanted to make sure the doors fit before that.

  • @johnjent4284
    @johnjent4284 Před rokem

    Don’t use this information for the JKU doors. It’s does not fit.

    • @graxsp
      @graxsp Před rokem

      John is correct. I tried it anyway for my 2017 JKU wrangler and it seems each section should be at least 2 inches wider. And like others said, you only need 7 of the 18"s. And I would advise instead of the #8 x 3/4" screws, use some machine bolts with washers and lock washers because those wood screws are very small and don't grip the plastic dolly.

  • @rsenvision
    @rsenvision Před 8 měsíci

    this is just dumb. your math is all off. wasted a trip to the store, guess i should have read comments first and noticed it was supposed to be 7, not 17 18". you replied to a comment but never corrected it...

  • @MrBhinde
    @MrBhinde Před 26 dny

    Horrible plans.
    It's too small for all four doors.
    The number of cuts and lengths is wrong. If you go with his number of cuts, 40' of conduit will not be enough. They're wrong anyway.
    The idea is good. Just do your own math and measurements.
    This is one of the worst DYI video I've seen.
