    Robert Arrington shows you how to properly Cape a big Wild hog without hanging him up.
    If you've got a wild hog that needs to be mounted. Bill Burns from Back to Life Taxidermy in Orlando, Fl is the best I've ever seen at making them come "Back to Life". He does much more than just hogs, but the work he's done for me has been nothing short of AMAZING! Check him out. www.btltaxidermy.com/

If you are hungry, I don't think anybody really gives a "we've all done this before" about what came off first. Guts and all the other stuff will supposedly contaminate all the good stuff.

      +Giuseppe Bucceri So if we stop eating meat today what happens to all the cows, and other meat animals? We can't afford to feed and keep them they Have to have people or die out (accept for the pigs. They are ready at any moment to go wild).
      So you are ok with the extinction of hundreds of species and other animals and the death of Billions! Murderer!

    • @yo2theg
      @yo2theg Před 8 lety

      valcan321 they wouldn't become extinct if we give them their space and treat them NORMALLY. The only reason there is a huge population of farm animals is because HUMANS give them some next shit that make them reproduce faster for human consumption. Its pure selfishness.

      Giuseppe Bucceri I don't want to be rude . but just try to ask you ! why ur trying to control what people eat ? you vegetarian u eat vegetables so what !!!! some people like meat too . why u think he killed for his pleasure . he slaughter this animal to eat it unless he didn't that doesn't mean all meat eaters are like him if he did . 2) why u don't educate ur self on meat and vegetables food ???? try to understand why animals are on earth too not only greenery . peace

    • @valcan321
      @valcan321 Před 8 lety

      +Giuseppe Bucceri Um..no they wouldn't. Most of these animals now Depend upon people. And we aren't making them breed faster its just they have good food, medical care, and that makes healthy animals which can mature and reproduce much faster. We kill their predators (except for ourselves) so less of their young get taken at birth meaning more animals. We literally created many of these animals by thousands of years of selective breeding.
      I have worked on a far taken care of horses. I love all these animal. Especially horses the idea of them being eaten is insane to me. So I think I can in some ways understand that view point you have.
      You speak from an emotionally illogical and ignorant point of view. That's normal for people who haven't been brought up that way or who have a soft heart.
      Quite frankly you have one choice. Accept the fact others live differently from you. The other...well it usually ends badly for people like you.

    i'm no butcher, but i'm fairly sure you need to let meat hang for a day or two, to allow the muscle fibres to breakdown, as it improves tenderness, stops it being tough and leathery? When you said, its best used for sausage was it because of its toughness or another reason? Also could you clarify your rank comment is this due to lactic acid in the muscles when it died? Thanks in advance because content like this is truly excellent, demonstrating real skills and keeping people inspired. This is exactly what the internet was designed for to educate and enlighten.

      +TheMwnciboo If you are going to let the carcass hang to allow the meat to age or the rigamortis release and make the meat a little more tender, you need to have an area that is between 32 and 40 degrees otherwise the meat will spoil.

      I have. It one that I killed. The meat will taste better depending on how little it suffered it's death.
      If it suffered much, the meat will be horrendous, but if you make their death quick, their meat will taste excellent. The reason why the meat gets bad if it suffers is because when it gets hurt, the boar's adrenaline kicks in
