    Good review man!! I would say 98% of the reviews I've seen on any saddlemens seat has been very positive!

    Jason, my FXR Brother. It's been a bit. This season I put the Saddleman SDC seat on 1990 FXRS-SP. I had the same problem with the hinge holes lining up. Agree, When riding in the Catskill mountains here in NY the seat does keep you planted when hammering turns, also feels good on the back. Make sure you keep all your factory FXR parts, hard to find & when you do big $$$. Great review. Keep at least 1 wheel on the ground my brother.

      The SDC that's the real show stopper model, nice choice! I stash all my factory stuff too, you just never know when you might need it. Thanks for watching as always my friend!

    Nice video man, thanks! I put 6k miles on my Saddlemen Step Up seat this season and it performed well. Certainly much better than the stock seat! Its firm out the gate but has formed up nice over 6k miles. I've ridden as long as four and five hours on rough twisties in the Maine mountains.

    Thanks for the review and all the info prior when I was buying one for my FXR. Work this summer and still currently has me to busy to even ride smh.. I sat the seat on the bike to see the look…beautiful. Then took back inside an has sat in box since. Still don’t regret the purchase tho after the slide my old seat has.

      That seat looks right at home when you get it mounted. There will be plenty of time to ride, work has phases like that for me too. Glad the videos helped out ride safe! 🤙🏼

    It looks very uncomfortable. It looks nice but I got one like that for my dad and we had to send it back because it was like sitting on concrete lol 😂. Definitely looks great 👍. As long as you’re happy with it that’s all that matters! Lay a sweatshirt over your seat while you’re at work bro 😎. Thanks for sharing!

      Riding-
      Not sure what seat you had of ours but they do require a bit of a break-in period. Typically about 350 miles before they relax and conform to the rider and passenger. Let us know if you ever have questions we can help answer- we're always here to help. Thanks!

    I have a 91 FXRS Lowrider, thinkin of this seat , I like it on my 2020 Lowrider S, so I'm familiar with this product. Question ❓ is , does the seat move around without the rear bolt ? Especially for the passenger .
    I really want to install it with the use of the hinge . Just wondering, bout if I should add the thumb bolt and tab to the back.
    I'd appreciate what your thoughts are on this . Thanx
    Steve

    • @freebirdsgarage
      @freebirdsgarage  Před rokem +1

      If you have the latch that goes with the hinge it won’t move. Without the latch, you will definitely need that thumb bolt. Hopefully that helps you out!
