it's def a tough call. Both great seats and even tho I ended up sticking with lucky daves it could be because I was already used to LD seat but the discomfort from the saddlemen was SLIGHT. Mostly little butt numbness on longer rides etc.
But I will say the Saddlemen had the +1 over the LD over the material. The material on the Saddlemen is def more grippy and has you more secured it feels like. Saddlemen is more customizable regarding options to customize.
Had I started out with Saddlemen and Demo'd the Lucky Daves I may have stuck with Saddlemen for bang for the buck (more options on customizing, gripper material really grips, you feel in the pocket with the deep seating position) but looks-wise for my bike I prefer the LD
ConnorFXDB nice bro like the info u give.. yeah i order my lucky dave seat soon.. i just like the looks of the style
porosity FXDB awesome! Thank you much!! You thinkin diamond stitch or tuck n roll?
ConnorFXDB black seat diamond symbols with red stitch 😎😎
oh snap i just notice u got the same fairing like my buddies does... lol nice. looks clean AF
porosity FXDB 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 dope!!!
You can get the gripper on the ld seat too
Dude My wife ordered a saddlemen for my Father's Day gift, I can't wait , should be here any day now. I couldn't find any comparison videos last week! Good job
HECK YA!!! Stoked brutha! You'll def like it!
Interesting thing is I wonder if I would've chosen the Saddlemen seat had I demo'd the lucky daves seat after having had the sddlemen seat first. Cuz the other rider who swapped seats with me said he liked his saddlemen over the lucky daves. Perhaps we were used to our seats etc. Either way, they're both amazing seats!
But i do have to give the +1 to Saddlemen for the gripper material. Really sticks and hold you in place. Thanks for watching brutha!!
u literally had me bouncing from one website to the other on decision making lmao. great vid. i know its old, but has withstood the test of time and helped my decision :) thanks!
hahaha thats how it is sometimes! Two amazing looking products but you have no idea which route you wanna go!
Much appreciate the support! Thank you for watching! Which seat do you think youre gonna end up goin with?
I ended up reupholstering my lucky daves seat from the diamond stitch to a gripper material tuck n roll for the saddle and a grey leather for the sides and passenger area and it was EVEN MORE COMFORTABLE! I wish lucky daves had come out with a seat for the new lowriders already!
@@ConnorFXDB I think I may go with lucky Daves as I like the look a little more. My biggest concern right now is that the aftermarket seat I bought forces me further back from the controls. Hoping the lucky Dave's will put me where the stock one is or even closer. The one I bought is a Roland Sands Boss 2 up. Not crazy about it. Looks great tho lol
@@kyleabbas Im not familiar with that seat from RSD but if its from them, no doubt it looks great!
Yes I noticed my lucky daves sat me very slightly forward (a fraction of an inch -- .25 at most) but it was very comfortable!
which seat do you think sits you lower ? I'm 5'7 so I need a seat that allows me to be closer to the floor. great video!!
Darian Jones hey darian! Thank you for watching and thanks for the comment!!!
I would say they're about the same. If anything the LD may sit slightly lower. Since the Saddlemen has a deeper pocket the tongue rises up slightly more giving you slightly less ground contact and I do mean slightly. Like probably inches or fractions of an inch. It's just how/where you sit with the seat
Thanks again for the support and safe riding!
Great experiment! Definitely going to refer people to this when they ask me about the seat ⚡️💯
FXDLS Brooklyn ⚡️👊🏻⚡️ many thanks brutha!!!! Much appreciated!
And ya man I had a couple people ask me which one was better and I couldn't honestly tell them! def gives me a better idea of what each seat has to offer
Thanks for watching brutha!
Great in depth video, loved the on the bike comparisons while you where riding. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Matthew! Greatly appreciated! Thank you for watching and for the support! Cheers!
Which seat put you farther back in the seat?
morning! My apologies for the tardy reply!
The saddlemen put you slightly farther back and the LD put you slightly forward. And these measurements are SLIGHT, but I did notice it initially when first sitting on the seats.
If I had to guess I would say approx 1/4 of an inch forward and 1/4 of an inch back to distances. Hope that answered your question! Cheers and thank you for watching!
Hi Connor. Of those two which one do you reckon has more width? I am looking for comfort and am still undecided which one to buy. Being a tall rider without the opportunity to test either of the two I am trying to gather as much information as possible before buying.
Cheers
whats up capt funky fingers!!! I would say the saddlemen felt slightly wider. Being a taller rider perhaps the saddlemen might suit you just a bit more because it seats you a little deeper/farther back than the lucky saves.
For commuting/long rides I prefer my LD. much more comfortable in my opinion. With the Saddlemen I felt a little more fatigue more often in my legs and lower back. I would readjust and it would be fine for a bit but come back intermittently. I will say if you ride aggressively and like curves/corners, the Saddlemen will hold you a lot more snug than the LD seat.
cheers and thanks for watching!! Very much appreciate the support!
My 1st impression of my saddle man was negative after 50 miles or so ..but then I did a long 1k ride (2 days) and honestly my saddleman was fantastic..it seems to have a break in time like they state..I'm happy with my saddleman only negative with saddle man was I needed to add rubber bushing for it to fit properly at the front connection point of my bike .(vtx 1800c)
yes I can agree with this. I enjoyed my lucky daves seat on my dyna and after reupholstering it and switching it to the tuck n roll gripper material it was even more AMAZING!
With the lowrider FXLR I went with saddlemen and the first ride was bruuuuutalllllllll. Now that I have a few thousand miles on it its really starting to take shape and gets more and more comfortable! Rode to california and back this summer and only near the last hours 12+ of riding would I start feeling a little fatigued.
Just bought a lucky Dave’s dyna seat for my 2007 dyna superglide and wow what a complete difference in comfort!
I got this seat used off offer up for 250$ but the seat looks and feels nearly brand new
Compared to my stock seat this definitely Keeps me locked in and comfortable. My stock solo seat would have me slip back with a little throttle
And I was already starting to develop a lower back problem due to my forcing my posture trying to stay forward with no support what so ever
I got lucky honestly because saddlemen and lucky Dave’s and La peras are 400 $ and up
That’s awesome to hear!! Yes it was truly a comfortable seat! I reupholstered it the following year to the tuck n roll gripper material and it felt like an entirely new seat! Even more comfortable! Thank you for your comment and insight Jacob! Happy riding and stay safe out there!
12:50 Daddy Yankee - La Noche De Los Dos. Not my favorit Daddy Yankee song but never the less he's still the boss! Thanks for the comparison.
haha yessir! Good eye! I have a playlist with all and everything. Gotta toss a little Daddy Yankee into the mix! Cheers and thanks for watching!
Hey man posting from Australia , looking at pulling the trigger on one of the seats, how's the lucky Dave for pillion
Jared Prince what's up brutha!! Cheers from the states! 🇺🇸 that's awesome!
The passenger pillon is super comfy! 👌🏻 no complaints from what I've heard yet
Cheers brutha and thanks for watching! Keep the shiny side up!
Do you happen to know if there is a difference in comfort between the tuck and roll and diamond stitch.
whats up justen! Apologize for the late reply -- not much difference. I did find the tuck n roll to be slightly more comfortable after I had broken it in (esp with the gripper material I got with it) The diamond stitch is nice, but felt the tuck n roll offered more padding
Thanks for the reply. I like the stitch but kinna between the 2.
Hi, where did you buy crash bars? I want to put them on my sb too
howdy and apologies for the tardy reply. The crash protection is both from bungking. The front is their crash bar and the rear are their 6" shock sliders. Cheers and thank you for watching!
Yo connor just started watching your vids and noticed you he short shots and now you have a 2 into 1. Bassani? What one do you like morr
Whats up scott! Apologize for the extremely late reply. CZcams started being lame and stopped notifying me of comments every so often. Barely now seeing this. The short shots arent a bad pipe and they are extremely affordable which is a major selling point! It helps you get rid of the stock sound and look.
I switched cuz I decided to go different direction with the build. Went from slammin it to more clubstyle and 2-1 is super popular. Plus I liked the way it looked and contrasted with the stainless steel of the pipe and the black of the pipe. Currently running Trask Performance Assault 2-1 pipe now.
I LOVE IT!
Great vid dude, now I'm gonna get a lucky daves for sure, also I could come meet you for that ride on a Saturday! It would be a long drive from Houston but I would do it bro!
Trever Mcbee what's up trever!! Thank you and thanks for watching!!!!
Dude that would be hella badass!! You could ride in with knuckles and salavadoreanboi! I'll def keep you posted and post a video once I pick a date! If anything I may just set up two rides one for Saturday and one for Sunday lol
Thanks again and thanks for the support! 🙏🏻🤘🏻
Yo man! Lovin the videos - what vest you wearing? Looks good - thanks for the videos.
Justin Brownell hey Justin! Thanks brutha Means a lot!
The vest is FMC leather vest I picked up off JP Cycles and threw on a Lords of Gastown patch
Your rear shock bolt isn't banging against your exhaust? What size shocks you have?
Peter Zamudio lol it def didn't fit without some slight modification. Shocks are 14.2" i added a couple washers serving as spacers to push out the exhaust mounting bracket a bit. About 1/4" worth
Cool l.e.d. lights! What setup are you using for the lighting?
sanmanbx3 what's up brutha! Apologize for the late reply!
Huge thanks for watching and for the support! Always appreciated!
These are joe Florida led lights. They are wicked! For an extra $400 you can opt for the j-link controller which gives you even more (hundreds and hundreds of color options and custom color patterns)
Yo what song is that at 5:06???
def wish I could remember! Best bet would be to pull up shazaam while it plays. I tried searching for it again but no luck. Cheers Jason thank you for watching! Much appreciated!
What kind of video camera r u rocking on your bars brother. ? I need something like that on my bike bro. . .
I run a go pro session on the bars. This is utilizing their bar mounts with several extra arms to get the angle and positioning I thought was best.
One awesome option to go (that I run now) is the CHOPPER HAUSS Master Cylinder mount. It mounts on top of your master cylinder and is twice as clean as this set up. Def check it out! or if you're curious how it looks shoot me a message on instagram @ ConnorFXDB and ill send you a photo.
Thanks for watching and huge thanks for the support!!
Would you mind sharing what kind of lighting you got going on?
Sup george! apologize for the hella late reply!
This is the joe florida led light kid (2nd least expensive option)
I dig em but since have discovered ciro 3d makes lights that are more affordable and give you the option of custom color options/patterns.
I had them wired with my brakes to light up red when I press the brakes for better visibility from other drivers
nice video comparison man. Now it's time to compare to a wall or widowmaker seat. what were those white gloves man? They are sick.
Aftershoxxx duuuude for real! I initially wanted the bmc Corbin seat way back when when I was first looking at seats. Would be cool and also the speed fam seat!
The red ones are the thrashing 2.0 gloves and the white ones are 100% gloves I picked up from cycle gear
Thanks for watching brutha!!
Right on Connor sounds like I'm going with Saddlemen!! But LD also does a tuck and roll seat.... I wonder if it would have the same characteristics of the saddlemen being It's tuck and roll?
Hey Ruger wallace! Thanks for the comment and huge thanks for watching!!!
Yes Saddlemen does a tuck n roll as well. that was the style of the seat I was riding on for this.
My question was wondering if Saddlemen made a diamond stitch which in fact I discovered they do! Both seats are comfortable with Saddlemen having the +1 for the gripper material on the seat. Def more grip than the Lucky Daves. But for my personal comfort, I found the LD seat more suitable for me personally.
Omg my saddleman seat is horrible from the fit on the bike to the feel . Sorry i forgot to update this..after a long 300 plus mile ride it felt much better and i actually like it now..it def.needs a break in but sadly on mine the fit was bad but you yake the good with the bad i guess..,,,
I can def appreciate your comment. I much preferred my lucky daves (even tho theyre both made by saddlemen) the design profile of the LD was a little more forgiving for the rider. Cheers and thank you for watching
I've had a saddlemen step up on my 2016 FXDLS for a while, never tried lucky daves seat.. BUT I found a brand new one on eBay last night for $325 and couldn't pass it up. Bought it, and I'll try it and sell the one I like least! Although the lucky daves will probably look better cause the gold stitching with my fxdls wheels/gold...mm mm
Oh dang! That’s a deal! Hell yes!
And yes that’d be awesome! Keep me posted I’m curious if you’ll prefer the saddlemen over LD
which would be better for a shorter rider?
great question! You could probably roll with either. I would say the saddlemen sits you slightly lower but it would be minimal (half an inch or so at most)
One thing to look into possibly is maybe snagging some different shocks (lower) but not too low to where youre scraping every single turn lol.
Thanks for watching!
no, thank you. i'm from austin too. stay safe on 35
nice! likewise dude! place is a shitshow hahaha 35 is a whole other animal of itself!
we should link up and ride sometime!
sure. email me some contact info. rot rally is coming up...
for sure! do you have instagram? I post rides on there frequently and when Im out and about! Add me if you do/arent already @ConnorFXDB
Hey bro where did you got the windshield extension?
Keep it going.
whats up dario! Great question! Its from laminar lip.
www.laminarlip.com and you check out Harley Quarter Fairing tab/search
thanks for watching!
What kind of fairing is that on your Harley.
Which seat you think is best suited for people 6ft and up? 34” inseam
howdy and welcome! thanks for watching! This is tough -- itll depend on what youre looking for in the seat. The saddlemen seats you slightly farther back because of its design and having that deeper rider pocket so this would greatly benefit a taller rider.
But in my experiences I found the lucky daves to be more comfortable than the saddlemen seat (even tho Saddlemen makes Lucky Daves -- i believe the design of the LD seat with the slight and gradual slope for the rider position allows for less pressure on your tail bone)
But the saddlemen seats you slightly forward so your legs may feel a little crowded when riding for longer distance (this is where crash bars/ highway pegs come in handy that allow you to stretch out for more comfort on longer stretches).
I would also look into San Diego Customs for their seat! Its a hybrid of both at the same pricepoint and looks wicked! I had the LD diamond stitch and enjoyed that for 10,000 miles with no issues, but reupholstered it later and switched to a gripper material tuck n roll for the saddle area and grey leather for the outside and passenger area and LOVED IT! It felt WAY more comfortable and rode 30,000 miles with it before I traded my Dyna in for the Softail Lowrider. That gripper material in tuck n roll was AMAZING! Hope that helps and thank you for watching!
@ConnorFXDB Sup brotha. Good info and vid. You did 10k on the San Diego custom seat or the lucky Dave’s? Comfort on longer rides is more important to me too. I’ll check San Diego customs and give em shout an ask some questions. I’ll tell em you sent me. Thanks.
@@justcoolin3384 no I never had the opportunity to try one out. I did 10k on my diamond stitch Lucky Daves and then reupholstered it and changed up the material and from diamond stitch to tuck n roll.
I rode that for the last 30,000 miles of my bike and man I really liked that combo.
I wish LD or SDC would come out with a seat for the softail lowrider so I can try em out and see if theyre more/less comfortable
What fairing is that, and how do you like it?
this is the 1/4 Fairing from MoonsMC (harley repop). Its a decent fairing (esp with the laminar lip extension) but have recently changed to the Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing. Both great fairings but def say the Road Warrior from Memphis shades is the topdawg!
Yea I'm going with the luckydaves seat
awesome to hear! I ended up getting a diff design/reupholstered and went with tuck n roll gripper material for the saddle and grey leather for the rest and man was it comfortable! I loved it! (recently traded the dyna for a 19 FXLR)
let me know about the ride. CTHD is open on sundays and that would work best for me too.
Mark Matthews for sure bud!! And awesome! Totally did not know that! For some reason I was under the impression they were closed Sundays. That would actually work better and I feel would be more chill ride it being a Sunday n all
Thanks for watching n I'll keep you posted! If you have Instagram feel free to add me on there cuz i post when and where I'm ridin. I'll def upload another video on here too once I have a date set!
Thanks for watching!
I’m more concerned about the passenger comfort, I seen a bad review on that for the Saddlemen, hows the back seat on the LD?
yes that is true I have heard more people express how uncomfortable the passenger portion is on the saddlemen, but never hear it about the lucky daves. The times I have had a passenger they didnt state any discomfort on the rides.
im still waiting for lucky daves to make a seat for my new Softail Lowrider so i can make the swap from saddlemen to lucky daves again!
yo yo nice vid Connor
Young Whiz ayeeeee young whiz!!
Huge thanks brutha!! Very much appreciated and huge thanks for watching!
Cheers and keep the shiny side up! 🤘🏻
Which one is thicker/ thinner?
Howdy! Thank you for watching! Theyre similar regarding that aspect.
Few months following this I reupholstered my lucky daves seat to the tuck n roll with gripper material and found it to be much more comfortable!
I currently run a saddlemen on my 2019 FXLR softail, but only because Lucky Daves does not a seat available for the new softails. If they did I would go that route again! Hope that answered your question and thank you again for watching!
Sup dude I'm in Austin just sold my sumo for a fxdl starting to build it up for some wheelies!! Love the video
ThirdCoastOG what's up brutha!! Ya man saw you on insta! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 much appreciated and huge thanks for the support!
Planning a ride around the Austin area sometime next month. Would love to have you roll out! cheers brutha!
ConnorFXDB hell yeah dude I'm down!
ThirdCoastOG badass!! I'll def keep you posted!
i just got a lucky Dave's for my dyna man, i fuckin love it!!!
YESSSSSIR! Late to the party but finally replying hahaha dang ol YT hid so many notifications but thanks to this SMART REPLY feature it now shows me all the ones that got lost lol cheers brutha!
kinfolk!!! what's up brother hey man for the ride I'm down for any day I will try to take off to make it! I'll also see if Salvadoreanboi wants to head out also, which I no he is going to watch this video also so let's see what he says. Great video brother keep up the great work 👍. Hope to make the ride! 🤙🍻
whats up bruthaaa!! Hell ya!! Would def be dope! Badass dude i'll def keep you posted. Gonna try and pick a date this weekend and give notice so people can try and take off for it. From what I hear its a pretty badass ride! Devils Backbone/River Rd is also supposed to be nice! Cheers brutha and thanks for the support!
Both seats made in same company! So.........every body have different opinion . Saddlemen more customize and more style to choose!
Cool Dude yes yes!! I remember shortly after this video I found out! I always assumed it to be hearsay but turns out everyone was right all along hahaha
You’re exactly right! Depending on how you sit on your bike and which seat compliments your body dynamics and positioning will prove the more comfortable seat!
I truly did enjoy my lucky Dave’s seat! Even after having ran my saddlemen on my 19 FXLR for 13,000 miles. It’s def broken in some but am curious to try a lucky Dave’s seat for it!
Cheers and thank you for your feedback! Thank you for watching!!
Both made by Saddlemen. I love Saddlemen more, more options, best service, good quality---this is only my opinion. you choose whatever fit the best for you.
Matt Leonet thank you for your comment Matt! Yes this is true! I was not aware until shortly after this video.
Slightly different ergonomics on seat positioning make for different feels but both still solid products!
Saddlemen does have more availability and ability for customization than Lucky Dave’s but I do still find the LD slightly more comfortable
Cheers and thank you for watching!!
what roads are these again?..that looks like a good sunday route....
chris janes hey brutha! Great to hear from ya!
The first part is 16 going out to Kerville and then following it to Fredericksburg. Then to bring you back south you take 1376/sisterdale rd down towards boerne 🤘🏻🤘🏻
ConnorFXDB im still trying to fucking figure out that app for iphones to map your routes
chris janes rever?
Unless you get the paid version it's easier if you go online from a desktop to rever.co
And plan the route that way
which one supports lower back better?
whats up shaun!! Thanks for watching!
I would say the saddle men would be the choice for that one. Mostly just because of how you sit in the seat
have u ever tried c@c seat
Shaun White hey Shaun! Sorry for the late reply!
Negative! I do want to try it out tho. You have any experience with the c&c seat?
What leds are those around the bike?
Angel Colmenares hey angel! Thanks for watching!! Much appreciated!!
The leds are Joe Florida LEDs. They're the 260 count or somethin like that. Not the lowest amount the one just above that. There great! You also have the option of buying the J-link controller which gives you hundreds of more color options, hues, light patterns and color sequence but it's an extra $400 but you can use your iPhone/android for setup etc
I'm perfectly fine with this setup without the j-link controller. Comes with that little key fob and you can choose from up to 7 colors
Really looking for a seat that will sit me higher up and closer to the bars. Anyone know of anything?!
its def tough as most seats only add a small fraction of movement forward or back. The lucky daves did move me forward 1/4" but didnt notice anything crazy forward. Hope that helps and lmk if you find anything.
Cheers and thank you for watching!
@@ConnorFXDB LePera Kick Flip gave me exactly what I was looking for
Great video idea. I've got a saddlemen and I love it. I went with it because of their gripper material. If you're wheeling it really does help
TeezleySPT what's up bud! Thanks for the comment and thanks for the support!! Much appreciated!!
Agreed!! That gripper material is no joke! Def would feel secured in seat with it. I never noticed the lack of it in the LD seat
Thanks again for watching!!
How tall are you ? How comfy u feel with mids and that seat ?
Edwin Guevara hey Edwin! I'm 5'11"
And ya. I love the mids. There's been a time or two when I've felt cramped but that was on long ass rides where I'm sure it was just overall fatigue but that's where the benefit of the highway bars comes in. Was able to stretch out my legs as needed.
The seat is comfortable! I run the lucky Daves seat but after trying this out it's just as comfortable I would say the Saddlemen is little nicer cuz the gripper material is nice cuz you really feel locked into place
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
ConnorFXDB thanks for your reply I'm 5 10 and just got a street bob but I'm so use to forward I feel to tall for the mids but I'll give them a chance.
Edwin Guevara I hear ya man! I almost went with forwards but def glad I didn't. I just feel I can lay back and cruise if I want and put my feet on the highway pegs or mob and ride aggressive af with mids
First off, thanks for the shoutout. Much appreciated. I need to start motovlogging with my bikes on my YT channel. As for the seats for my LowRider S I'm probably going to get the Saddlemen for its grip and being narrower. I do however like the looks of the LD better. Whenever your in the Bay Area we should go do a ride along with Brian 510dy_nasty
Roel Tolentino ayeeeee what's up my dude!! Ya man I actually meant to give you a shoutout in the last vid but remembered super last minute!
Hell ya dude! Lmk whenever you start and I'll peep your videos for sure!! Ya man, either way they're both great seats! Just slight differences in both.
If the LD got the gripper material on theirs they would be unstoppable! But you gotta love the aggressive styling of the Saddlemen! Cheers brutha and huge thanks for watching!
Love the dead south
Michael Bollinger yes! Great music! Thank you for watching!!
Doesn’t saddlemen make LD’s seats for them?
Robert Jones yes sir! Lucky Dave’s is made by saddlemen but the overall seat profile is slightly different. The lucky Dave’s has a little more curve and less inset which gives them different feels
Ordered a LD seat for my FXDLS a month ago, still waiting for it to ship...
Ronix523 brutha that's the second time I've heard that. Someone just told me the same thing on bars. Have you messaged them? I screen shotted it and gonna message them also
Did they state there was a lead time with the seats at the time of the order? That's a pretty lengthy time to wait lol
They said to expect a 1-2 week backorder. Its been over 3 weeks now and nothing. I emailed them last week and they said the seat should ship sometime late last week, but still nothing.
Kinda sucks, especially when Saddlemen will have their seat shipped out the same week.
Ronix523 I hear ya man. That's never fun waiting for something when it's hella late. I can't remember the name of the company off the top of my head but something similar happened but they messaged me with updates like every week. They should st least do that. I understand high order volume etc but it would be nice to get word or confirmation and whereabouts of your order time to time.
Shawn Morse def true! Really nice seat! Love the way it adds to the look of my bike!
Now that I've ridden the Saddlemen I wish LD would add a gripper material option to their line up then they would be unstoppable!
Ronix523 I Ordered mine 2weeks ago. Damm I am looking for a few weeks more.
Lol shoot first video I've seen on your channel and instantly noticed you live in San Antonio badass I'm right up the road from caliente hd
David! Nice dude! What do ya ride? Huge thanks for checking out the channel and for the support -- means a lot! We should link up and ride sometime! Im always riding Sundays (for sure) and fridays
ConnorFXDB definitely man I'm off on sundays too lol and I have a 2018 street Bob I love it
aww sick! Heck ya! Do you have FB? Theres a group on there " Sunday Rides SA/ATX" where we set up rides etc.
ConnorFXDB badass I'll go add it to the list!!
Hey man question for ya ,, i just put the Predator front isolator on my CVO FXDWG3 and man it made a hell of a difference on cornering and handling of my bike,, you ever try one ? Or know anyone who has ?
PhatboyHD88 hey phatboy awesome question! To be honest I'm not familiar with the predator. I def wanna pick up inverted front end! I'll look around and see if anyone is running one and get back to ya!
Man you make me wanna start filming everything and editing love these riding montages. Legit!! Also what brand are your gloves?
Brett Robinson hey Brett!! Thanks! Def means a lot!! Fun fact is I actually started these edits for Instagram just to remember the rides 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 you should def do it!! It's tons of fun riding as it is but when you add filming and thinking of angles and getting the shot it gets even more fun! Sometimes frustrating lol
Thanks for watching!!
5150??? That's crazy
5150!! Semper Fi!
thanks for watching yall! Much appreciate the support! my apologies for the tardy reply
Great review... Lucky Daves is made by Saddlemen.......
Jess Saldana hey jess! Thank you!! And Ive hear that here n there. Think it's nuts! totally didn't know that!
ConnorFXDB Hey love all your reviews doing a great job man. Got some lucky Dave bars cause of your review ... keep it up Brother great job u are doing. If every in So cal hit me up... take care of u. 👊🏼👊🏼
Jess FXDLS17 hey what's up jess! Thank you! Def means a lot! Def some dope ass bars!! Which ones did you pick up? Lucky 13 or San Diego bars?
Def will do! I'm trying to plan a trip out sometime next year for a month or so and make sure I have plenty of time to ride everywhere and anywhere!
ConnorFXDB I pick up the Lucky 13 13 inch gonna put them on this weekend .. I like the SD bars but the pull back looks more comfortable will see. ..👍👍
Jess FXDLS17 I def agree!! The pullback is 👌🏻👌🏻 stoked to see how they turn out!
This is like yammie noob but without the graphics

Hi Connor, How tall are you?
Hey ben! Huge apologies for the late reply!
I am 5'11"
Makes no sense because lucky Dave’s is a saddlemen
travis hogan thank you for the comment! I appreciate the feedback! While Saddlemen does make the Lucky Dave’s Seat the subtle differences in ergonomics and overall design and how the rider sits on each seat differs.
Also having diamond stitch versus tuck n roll will also play a small part in overall rider comfort. A year after this review I reupholster my lucky Dave’s to go from diamond stitch to the tuck n roll in gripper material and the comfort level was insanely improved!
Thanks and safe riding!
What's the song at 5:00?
Mornin and my apologies for the late reply!
I wish I could remember and be of help. THat was in an old playlist on an old phone I no longer have access to. You could try playing it on the computer and using the sound app SHAZAAM to help try and identify it Thank you for watching!
What’s the name of that song
which song? at the end?
at 10:00
Dueling Banjo
by The Dead South
Which one sits you further back?
Skunk72 I would say the Saddlemen had the slight push farther back.
Thanks for watching!!
ConnorFXDB thanks for replying so quickly... I gotta get rid of the ugly ass sundowner seat!
Reviewing a seat should show the seat.
morgando2 thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for watching!
Saddleman it is for me then. I think......
right on! you wont be disappointed!
Doesn’t saddlemen make lucky Dave’s?
Howdy Joe thanks for watching!
Yes sir they do! The seats have different ergonomics and seat profiles. The Lucky Daves imo was more comfortable and prevented saddle soreness on longe rides later than the saddlemen did.
But the saddlemen does have a more aggressive profile and looks better, the Lucky Daves is still the more comfortable seat to me. Thanks for watching!!
The guy that throws down hard AF and has mastered wheelies on these things is @Cbearstunts on Instagram pretty sure he's on a blue dyna ..check his page out.
LifeOfCoop dude yes! He kills it! I think he ended up sellin it and is running a bagger now!
I used to live right south of 90 from you
Seth Allen whaaa dude that's awesome! Where you at now? Still San Antonio or did you move out?
Dude saddlemen was the real manufacture. No matter what i will definite go with saddlemen. They have great service and more trust! I visit their factory, they are the one made luckydaves.
Morning! My apologies for the tardy reply!
Yes! CORRECT! I was like whaaaa when I first found that out. Crazy how the slight difference in ergonomics makes for such a diff ride. I still believe the LD to be the more comfortable seat for me personally, but both great options. Thank you for watching!
Saddleman make the seats for lucky Dave
HighC1assTrash haha ya so I've found out! Totally never knew that but the more people told me the more it made sense.
Do you run a Saddlemen or lucky Daves seat? Or neither?
ConnorFXDB Still in the process of building my bike, My plans are to go with the Lucky Dave’s seat. I think the Lucky Dave logo has a better look
I got my bike from the the dealership in this video. lol crazy
Chris Walton hell ya! Who'd you buy it from? Do you remember? Good people here.
Do you ride around San Antonio much?
ConnorFXDB Jesus helped me out, they have a good selection of bikes. I do ride in SA but I am looking to hit up some of the better routes in the canyon lake area. Any suggestions?
River road is always a fun road to ride as well as devils backbone!
Some of my favorite roads in sa to ride is 471 going outbound towards castroville and then Cielo Vista off 1604 and Babcock. Short run but lots of twists. Downside is some driveways stick out so time to time you get a little scare of a car poking out looking like they're gonna pull out in front of ya hahaha
The saddlemen will get more comfortable with miles
this is true. I ended up getting a 2019 FXLR and went with saddlemen. The first couple k miles was pretty brutal but I'll attribute most of that to my handlebar setup paired with the seat. Now that ive ridden 20k miles its much better although I still wish lucky daves would come out with a seat for the FXLR so I could see if its any different this go round having been with my saddemen for so long
thank you for the feedback! I appreciate the comment!
I'll have an oil wrastlin match with you ;)
lets go!
Great song btw
thank you Torrey! much appreciate the support!
@@ConnorFXDB no problem and thank you you got my hooked on a street Bob just bought a 2019
But they are the same seat tho 😉
TheRideTV what is this sorcery!?! lol that's what's a couple people told me. Are they the same seat as in one company makes both or the same same seat?
It's crazy how they feel totally different!
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!!!
Saddlemen makes the seat for LD. The specs are different tho so they are different seats actually!
TheRideTV thank you for the clarification. Now I know and can fully inform those who ask me!
