Pizza hut puts a little cornmeal a masa in their pizza dough or bottom of the pan 🥘,i remember when pizza 🍕 hut was the best ever,
To be the exact Pizza Hut thick and chewy recipe we made 3 sized dough balls , small, medium and large. Then they were put on individual bins each bin contained 8 to 10 dough balls and covered with lid then put in the walk in cooler over night to be ready for the next days dinner rush. There’s never been anything like since they made it, I worked there back in the late 70’s and we would often run out of the thick and chewy crust unlike the thin and crispy dough which we made and put in to plastic lined large round containers kinda like a trash can. Then we would take a hunk of dough out and run it thru the electric roller to flatten it out put it in pan and cut off the excess which would go in a separate container to be used for the next days all you can eat buffet….boy did I eat a lot of pizza back in those days…😂😂😂😂
🤤
I made this tonight. It was great. But after the 2 hr rise i put it on the pizza pan and let it rise another hr. Nice and crispy crust . Will keep this recipe!!
Great presentation
WARNING The recipe amounts are just wrong compared to the amounts used in the mixer in the video.
if you pay attention, the mixer has a scale, the amounts used are below:
200g of water with yeast + 70 g while mixing
520g of flower (not 600g)
54 g of oil (not 1 cup and far less than the amount of water used)
20 g of salt (way more salt than 1 tbs)
Thanks, but you're a bit too late
@@anonymity120 😂😂😂😂😂
Ya I’m gonna try this but I’m gonna put mine in the refrigerator overnight and see if it comes out like the real deal…👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My garbage can seemed to enjoy this crust
😂😂
Same

and there is no milkpowder ;)
One like fr u not fr dough fr ur workeffort
ill try this to make siopao dough..😊
How did it turned out
Ok ok how many cups of flour?
Can we use all purpose flour
Yes you can
If anyone has a thick, crunchy, airy pizza dough recipe video they have seen, please link it. I’m looking for one quite like Pizza Hut’s thick crust pizza.
For more air add more yeast.
@@silassherry6257 Wouldn't that make the bread have a strong yeast taste?
I vaguely think I've read that self-rising or bread flour helps, and maybe even dough with a little more moisture.
I haven't tried it though.
The pool of oil in the pan during the second proofing is what makes it crunchy and rich.
If you want airy you need flour with strength instead of general purpose flour. Look up 0 or 00 flour. Also, knead it until you can do the windowpane test. Also, the oven should be as hot as possible (be extra careful not to burn it, though).
first -- water temp should be 110 F ....
I know because I was a PH manager for 9 yrs ....
And
Do we have to make rest for 1 -2 hours
Yes
I made this and came out with a pie dough. What the actual fuck
Just looks like basic dough ingredients to me.
nice video 😎👍🏼 but you must use more sugar and a a littlebit of milk
Are you from Brazil?
oh did you add some water or something while its knecking in the machine

How many pizza bases does this recipe make?
Also what size pizza will they be 12" or 16"?
@@cookingwithshgufta idk if this is helpful now, but in the video they split it into 3 balls. I’m assuming it can make the base of 3 🙂
Also if you have made this, does it turn out like a Pizza Hut pizza base, thick, crunchy and airy?
Thanks
And also it look like a big dough ball so if rolled thin it may be 16”, but it really depends on thickness
makes 3 x 9"
You don’t know how much water? 600 grams of flour but no water? Salt doesn’t help dry yeast active.
Sikha doge only sunday
Assalam o alaikum
Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
1 cup is way way too much oil for that amount of the flour. Its like Pakistani pratha 😂😂
Is this genuinely pizza hut dough receipee?
NO PIZZA HUT STYLE. NORMAL DOUGH
It is Pizza Hut style. Thanks for your feedback.
@@yummyliciousfoods2142 how come?
@@519achilles the 1 cup oil LOL
I would suggest semolina flour, it’s the real deal!
God loves you and so does Jesus Christ amen amen
Are the measurements correct? 🤔
No no they are not.
Why so much OIL?
That's way less oil than is actually used. It needs to fry in the oil in the pan to make that rich and crunchy texture.
I was thinking the same thing
@@ThePallidor did you saw the video?? in the recipe the water and the oil should be the same, 1 cup, but in the video there's way more water than oil.
one of the amounts are very wrong for sure.
you can see that when they add the ingredients to the mixer, the mixer have a scale.
I cup oil is too much, I usually see in a recipe 2 tbsp of oil
This is Pizza Hut inspired recipe. Thanks for your feedback.
I think this is legit cause pizza hut Doughs are oily and i love them
I wish I could remember just how much oil we used but it was quite a bit, but then we made 25 pound batches at a time
@@yummyliciousfoods2142 no, your recipe is just wrong, in your video when you put everything in the mixer, that have a scale and their you used:
200g of water with yeast + 70 g while mixing
520g of flower (not 600g)
54 g of oil (not 1 cup and far less than the amount of water used)
20 g of salt (way more salt than 1 tbs)
American dough full of oil
That's not right, for whatever reason they put to much oil,I would use 3 1/2 table spoons maybe 4
Just a waste of time without the result!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a super shitty pizza dough haha
Follow this recipe to a T. Absolutely disgusting. Find another video to watch. So gross I had to throw the whole thing away and wasted about 20 bucks on ingredients
