- This is my tribute to one of the greatest antagonists ever, the extraordinary human being, Gustavo Fring, brilliantly portrayed by an amazing and very talented actor, Giancarlo Esposito. If there is anything that I love more than Breaking Bad-it's Gus. I intentionally left the iconic "blown-off face" scene out of this clip, since I genuinely did not want Gus to die, at least in my little film. Hope you'll enjoy this celebration of Gustavo's intelligence, classiness and iron will and Giancarlo's sublime acting.

Gustavo was a great man, even though his friend was killed in front of him, he took his time, climbed rank and took his revenge, piece by piece. He looked as if he was in pain and wisdom. Even if he's a fictional charecter I still toast a glass of wine to greatness.

+Dante Frost Are you really saying BB is wasted potential just because Gus wasn't the main character? Gus as the main character would never have worked. Breaking Bad is a crime drama / dark comedy, that genre would not have worked with a story about Gus.

This background music gives me chills. I guess it’s that same music that plays when Gustavo walks towards the nursing home to kill Hector. It gives me goosebumps because I know it’s Gus’s last moment and the accuracy of him walking towards his death. I even cried when the music started playing and more so knowing that the empire he built was ending with his death. And I felt bad for Hector as Gus had finished his entire clan which pushed Hector to take this step of suicide bombing. The way Hector makes his face and tears up a lil just before pushing the button. Man.....I can’t even 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I wanna see a "Better call Saul" style prequel based around Gustavo and the Cartel. 3 maybe 2 seasons? And the final episode is where he hears that Crazy 8 is missing.

I think that he's gonna appear in the third season. In my opinion it was him who stopped Mike in 2x10 of Better Call Saul. Just as he told the cousins to get out of Walts house in Breaking Bad.

He was an awesome character. The way he was so calm, collected and well mannered but at the same time so cold and ruthless. And I really loved his voice in German (I’m German). I enjoyed every scene with him and I was very, very sad when he died. And honestly Gus was pretty handsome for a guy in his late 40s or early 50s, so there’s that too. 😂

Gus is a evil genius. He had a meeting with a rival of his after his men killed his best friend who he knew like a brother. So he poisoned the drink he gave the boss as a gift. He stopped jesse from drinking it but Gus himself drank it but then vomited to expel the poisoned drink outside of his body killing everybody else who drank it.
Oh boy this is amazing. Just like him.

I love Gus too. The mild mannered psychopath lol. I'm up to the last episode on series 4 where he dies. I'm watching BB on Spike tv in the UK as a first time watcher as I never had Netflix. It's a brilliant series and I'm glad I finally got the chance to see it :)

That was the moment Gus scared me the most. Not when he had Walt in the desert, not slitting Victor's throat, not even his revenge on Don Eladio or listening to Bolsa being gunned down over the phone.
After giving Walt a chance to reconsider his plan to leave, Gus relents for a second, and responds with "enjoy your meal" the way a restaurant manager would speak to any regular paying customer. You know that Walt is out, and a man like Gus does not simply give second chances. The situation has to be right for that to happen.

Actually this actor is stealing the show. Awesome peformance and a great character, ice cold and a true pro. Hiding in plain sight, he is the real deal, Walter was just lucky he had the main role, rofl.
Once Gustavo died, it all went downhill from there, mike, the 9 guys, hector and the replacement guy, hank and Steve, the gang and Lynda, and then walt.
