We planned to have more videos done for the weekend but we had some computer problems. We plan to do all the songs that have been requested. Keep requesting more songs. Love the suggestions so far.

Jaime Inskeep wrong
It must depend on their mood lol. On one hand, there are songs like Dear God, Gunslinger, Danger Line, etc. which touch on the more comforting aspects of religion. Then on the other, you’ve got songs like God Hates Us lol. Anyway, great video, looking forward to more from you guys. It’s interesting to get a different perspective on this kind of music.
LuongoLet20GoalsIn I agree, y'all should check out Dear God,l or Gunslinger! Dangerline is also real good!
the meaning of god hates us is god hates us for our sins (rape, lies, etc.) but will still forgive us and let us into heaven
I agree on Gunslinger & Dear God but Dangerline is different. They literally are saying that they are losing their faith on the battlefield.
There’s also collabs with other bands like good Charlotte like The River
Hi, could you turn the volume up a little please
Martin Allen yeah we’ll work on that. Thanks for the feedback .
This band isn't religious in any way. They don't actually believe the words they are saying in a lot of their songs. It just tells a story.
Ry Guy Actually Matt at the very least although I think the whole original band are actually Catholic
Incorrect. He was raised religiously, but he has said many times he doesn't believe in religion anymore.
I’m pretty sure Matt said something about Religion becoming corrupted, and how it’s influencing society on a negative way, which Partially influenced “the Stage”
Ry Guy Perhaps raised Catholic was what I'm confusing with being Catholic. I definitely remember him mentioning it years ago.
My bad.
I told him he should react to “Little Piece of Heaven”, their only gospel song
Haven't started the vid yet and I'm already saying "Oh God no!..don't do it Pastor!"😂😂
Haha
It will be ok!
He's GOT to listen to "Crimson day" ..a song written for Matt's son. I sing it as a lullaby to my kid...also "Heretic"..reminds me of the persecution of our current commander-in-chief
BigKat won’t let me get political...
My favorite a7x song all time🔥
If you really want to dive into this the metal community will embrace you and provide information and ideas on your new journey. Enjoy. I got a few metal/rock songs with religious connotations since you said that's what has peaked your interest to learn.
BLACK SABBATH
After Forever.
IRON MAIDEN
Hallowed Be Thy Name.
METALLICA
Creeping Death.
HIGHLY SUSPECT
My Name Is Human.
Slayer- Disciple
Going to be interesting to see the reactions when you get around to songs like Beast and The Harlot and Chapter Four.
Hey, guys! I see you are wondering so I thought I should shed some light on the issue. The band is not satanist or anything like that. They aren't particularly religious either.
They sometimes write songs that are lyrically based on religious material like "Chapter Four", "The Beast and the Harlot" or "The Wicked End". And while some of their songs might make it seem like they might be leaning towards the satanic side (This one or "God Hates Us"), they also have more tender songs that touch upon the light side of religion and respect it ("Dear God", "Gunslinger", "Danger Line").
Most of the time they just like to play around lyrically just to piss off some people by adding in some controversial stuff, but they're really just a bunch of normal guys that enjoy creating music. :)
As a change of pace I actually recommend listening to one of the songs I mentioned above, Gunslinger, so you can see what I'm talking about. This is a great band with some really intricate musicianship, I hope guys will be able to delve further into the band and get to listen to some of their best as well!
Take care and thank you for the reactions!
Jessica Drew. I agree not every song A7x does has to do with religion. I think he's over thinking it.
Ya they said their stage names are made to piss ppl off
I am really enjoying these videos, keep it up! Maybe have him react to Gunslinger, Dear God or Danger Line so he can take a look at the other side of Avenged when talking about religion
Actually pretty interesting to hear. I'm Lutheran, but seeing how others interpret things helps broaden my train of thought. To my knowledge, they're just a group of guys that like to anger all sides involved, which is something I can get behind. Thanks for being open to something like this!
And if you haven't already, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on "Hail to the King" by the same band or "Wrong side of Heaven" by Five Finger Death Punch, a military oriented metal group.
You get an A+ for covering this song. The other song off this album "Planets" definitely refers to end of world stuff.
Thank you for reacting to it here's another song i would like to see your reaction *Instanzia - Heavenly Hell* :)
Please react to exist by avenged Sevenfold,it talks about how everything was created
You said you won't comment on the quality of the music. While I appreciate your theological and academic input, it would be nice to hear a personal opinion about the music sometimes, especially if you liked it! After all music speaks us of meaning in some sense, each with their own tastes of course
If you listen to the final verse i think it does a 180 again. Hes almost saying that hes risen from the ash to witness what hes done and is sorry. I think.
Please please pleaseeeee turn the volume up
Afterlife, shepherd of fire, and welcome to the family
Hi, I really like your videos, I would really appreciate you reacting to A Little Piece of Heaven by this band, it's a very powerful piece of music, but very dark, and your light would be appreciated.
They do a gospel song. It’s called “Little Piece of Heaven”. It’s a beautiful story
Hehe
Pastor, Listen to Wicked End by the same band. Or Chapter Four about Cain.
React to coheed and Cambria- fuel for the feeding end
I think it would be great if you guys would check out Wont see you tonight part 1. Or Crossroads from the Diamonds in the rough album.
JOLO crossroads coming shortly, thanks for commenting- Andy
JOLO crossroads is now posted
Just requested this on a different video and then I saw this video. You should do, a perfect circle Judith. Brace yourself
As of right now. A7x are Good I assume. Their post on ig and fb are actually cheerful lol. Rhey seem to be moving towards a beetles and pink floyd look with more freedom fighting songs lol
The fact that they put out a song about satan doesnt mean anything they jave dear god that talks about god and others they are just writing songs from the perspective of people this one is from the perspective of someone that after the apocalypse seeks help to satan
i request for u guys to react to skillet lions
I saw this song as the perspective of those who bear the mark or the number of the False prophet in Revelation. Not as a prayer to Satan himself.
From my understanding "darkest lord" is God, not satan in this song. Don't remember where I got this info from though. Hmm.
I'm pretty sure this is originally written by Mozart, lol
Literally can't hear a thing
Hard to hear
Yeah, one of our older videos. We finally figured it out
