After Effects Tutorial | Melting Glitch Effect | No Plugins

- Hey guys! Things are getting real glitchy this week, I hope you're ready! In this tutorial, we're making this super melty glitch effect. Melt anything into pixels! Text, images, your neighbor's cat... the possibilities are endless! We aren't using any third-party plugins AND it's an easy effect to do, so feel free to dive in and get weird with it. And don't forget to pick up any of the free project resources at the links below if it pleases ya.

I'd be surprised if you hadn't heard of it but I'd highly recommend FX Console and KBar.
I really appreciate the fact that you speak like a normal person. Like someone who actually has a personality and is simply teaching their friend how to do something.
Not all formulaic and dry like some other people.
It's always nice when people mention additional tips for possible creations. Like adding the 2nd word and changing color etc.

@StrangeShapes I don't have any specific plugins but a very cool text animation which can be used for logo's would be very cool :)
Unfortunately it doesn't work with white background and black text. Any idea how to easily fix that?
I just tinkered with it a bit and got it to work! If you make a white solid in the "Text" comp and drag it beneath the text layers, then everything should work as long as your text color is set to black. Let me know how it goes!
