Two thing i noticed in this video 1.- Revetlafing from Mortal Kombat is over 2.- Rushdown characters are in a huge disaventage againste zoners, i mean theres is the 1 bar foward dash but lets be honest we dont have options like them (i play Canary) once you get into distance you have to play perfectly or is the end
They should give rush down characters more options to go around zoning. Zoning players are taking advantage, exploiting projectiles to the max. Clearly it's a zoning game and characters with no projectiles appear at a disadvantage and giving them more options around zoning could help rush down characters
VESPACIAN 713 Meter burn roll only costs 1 bar of meter and makes your character invincible while covering about half-screen distance, with very little startup and very little recovery. Hard to react to and hard to punish, that helps getting in vs projectiles
Forever King thanks for the tip. I'm new to injustice. However I've played MKXL (Alist) and I'm on the rush down characters side. I'm not hating on zoning and accepting that injustice 2 has strong zoning elements... but the adapting nature of overcoming obstacles is directing me to pick up zoning characters. Now a rush down mentality and experience with high level zoning is my goal. Great channel bro, your batman is flawless and my guide to mastering batman

Playing against that damn hawkgirl in that one KOTH a couple of weeks before Injustice 2 came out was literally irritating. I mistakened him for a scrub at the time because his combo was just a loop of i thought to be just 11, bf2 MB, character power, bf2 MB. But really, it is a loop of "11, bf2 MB, Character power, 1, bf2 MB" and it is not nearly as easy as it looks. I don't know how fast he had to press to pull all of that off but now i have to commend him for his speed when pressing the buttons. I also had no idea as to who this dude really was and that he was a tournament player. He's no scrub after all.
how you kept cheetah so off balance with a brute like darkseid was crazy impressive. once you got into a rhythm it was over. I want to main him but I think he is rough to use against better zoners and superior rushers unless you are godly. IMHO

If it's an argument in meter don't we have pressuring? Why should there be plus frames that lead into more moves that in themselves guarantee things? Why should strings come out on block? Since you seem to know your NRS games to the point where you can judge one as good or bad not a week after it comes out, why does no one zone and then run fullscreen to apologetically start mixing? Maybe it's because you don't want to be up close against Cheetah if you have tools to deal with her. The point of zoning is to deal damage and keep your opponent away while they try to work through it to get in. I've lost to my fair share of deadshots and fates and maybe they do need a nerf. But if you look a few comments below the best argument for both parties (I belong to the deadshot/zoning OP group but I will stand against what I think is preposterous) we simply need more rushdown tools to get around, and Cheetah arguably has more than anyone. That matchup wouldn't look half as bad if Revet hadn't played so off.

There was only a small portion of each match where forever king utilizes batmans full screen options and people lose their shit. Get a grip people, go play tekken or whatever it is you fuckers do.

Yeah, but having to burn meter just to get in isn't much of a fair trade when the other guy is getting free damage or chip from fullscreen.
If you want my advice, if you want a rushdown character who has good anti-zoning, you should definitely go for Swamp Thing and/or Grodd
