Great video but without MSRP or general price numbers we have no way of knowing if the installer is screwing us over. Solar installers have a worse rep than politicians here in FL
You did not cover how much time it takes to install mango vs PW3. Also you should list out the additional wiring needed with the Mango. I saw a tech install the PW3 in 4 hours.
The installation of the Mango Power M is impressively efficient, allowing for a streamlined setup. With its user-friendly design and streamlined installation process, the Mango Power M can typically be installed in 3 hours (two man crew).
With Powerwall, you can charge your car on solar. And also the Tesla app is very intuitive. I think that gives the Tesla Powerwall 3 the edge over the other guys.
Thank you for your attention! The Mango Power M not only supports EV charging but also allows for smart app control. Through a dedicated mobile app or web interface, users can access real-time data regarding their Mango Power M, including battery status, power output, and energy consumption. For more information, please visit our official website.
Clicking on your links it looks like the Mango Power w 3 batteries is $20k. You could get 2 PW3 for $17.5k and get more battery capacity. Seems Mango P isn't 10-15% cheaper, unless I'm missing something? Is the installation costs that much of a difference between the two?
Installation process is managed by us and is included in the sale price, making the overall cost of setting up your Mango Power M an economical choice. Simply submit some basic details, and our technical support team will reach out to you promptly!
Nope. I had the two Powerwall 2 and 12 solar panels during the winter storm and never lost power. The Powewalls don't like super cold temperatures. I had mine in garage, so was not that bad, but was still cold. System worked great.
What would be a reasonable estimate for an off grid solar system in a cool Mediterranean climate (40 to 60 Fahrenheit) the no need for air-conditioning. The home would be a single-story home of approximately 1100 ft.² and built to net zero standards in terms of insulation and thermal mass.
Thank you for your interest! The modular design of the Mango Power M makes it easy to expand the energy storage capacity. Users can simply add more M battery packs or additional M Cabinets as required, allowing the system to grow alongside their energy demands. However, Mango Power M can't be integrated into your current Tesla Powerwall 2 system. The Mango Power M, including the M Hybrid Inverter, M Cabinet, and M battery packs, is specifically designed as an all-in-one solution. It does not support the use of third-party inverters or battery systems. The Mango Power M components are engineered to work together synergistically, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety. It's worth noting, however, that the Mango Power M can be directly integrated with existing solar and grid-tied systems. So if you have solar or grid-tied systems already in place, you can seamlessly incorporate the Mango Power M into your existing setup, allowing for efficient energy management and maximizing the benefits of both systems working together.
Based on its weight (as well as size and maybe even warranty details), compared to other LFP chemistry based similar capacity sized (13.5 kWh) batteries like the FranklinWH, and taking into account that its weight includes the solar inverter as well, it is highly unlikely that the Tesla Powerwall 3 is LFP chemistry based. Thoughts?
Mango with four separate 5kw batteries is the same as all the newer setups coming out that have stackable 5k batteries. Whether in the same box or stackable really makes no difference. Most of the others have the inverter that sits right on top, however, so it seems to me that they are a simpler system. At that point, pricing is the biggest factor. As far as how the final install "looks" Tesla has them all beat from what I have seen.
Maybe…just maybe…the reason for that is that there are some short comings with the Powerwall? …..Naaaa more likely he is biased to a solution we are biased too…

Isn't Tesla coming out with an AC coupled PW3?
Yes.
The PW3 is AC coupled it has an onboard inverter so connects to the home at AC board
I thought you endorsed Franklin batteries?
Is it weird that I'm addicted to these comparison videos? 😂😂😂
Congrats on losing your giant microphone.

Great to hear! Thank you!
My understanding is that, during the Texas power outage, the Tesla power wall units shut down after two days because they could not connect to the ?

Can I add mango to an existing powerwall 2 system to increase battery capacity
Yes, it’s grid forming system
@@nalanw4598 will I need a separate app

20k its too much for the Mango Power
cool
Can't generators be incorporated into a Tesla system using the Tesla Gateway?

Is the Mango M available in Canada?
yes it looks like they do offer in Cannada
Yes, the Mango Power M is indeed available in Canada.Simply submit some basic details, and our technical support team will reach out to you promptly!
Am I spend $10K on "Mango"? No no.
Why ?

You are always biased against TESLA in every review I have seen you do. Not cool!
How so?
