Never played a souls game I’ve always wanted to but just never got around to it seeing all the hype around Elden Ring makes me want to try it though
@@Haunttts before you buy Elden Ring first read some reviews so you know what you are getting yourself into. A bunch of my friends expected a hybrid of skyrim and the witcher 3 but they were dissapointed when they realised Elden Ring is not like the usual open world games.

Basically, almost every enemy in this game can delay it's attack to punish panic roll
Probably the best new improvement to the AI since DS3. Rather than the broken speed and no openings.

I think I overdid the exploring and side caves/catacombs cause when I reached Morgott I was lv 102 and melted him with the Bloodhound Greatsword

I did something similar, but instead I nuked him with the laser beam as a mage.
I deleted him with Blood infused twinblades, every time there was an opening it was another Bleed proc lmao
i reached him at around level 100, the first 40ish tries i used the moonveil without using weapon arts. Then i got pissed and killed him with literally 6 weapon arts lol
lol i was level 70 and kicked his ass with the starscourge greatswords
1:32 "It's like he waited for me to roll". That is the sentence I said the most in this game xD Just like the fat and skinny duo guys. They waited until I clicked the potion button and then they attacked me. When I didn't click the button they just looked at me, doing nothing :D

Is it weird that i died more on optional/dungeon bossess than main bosses. I really think its because main bosses has a really good attack telegraphy rather than optional bosses lmao.
In my case it was because I was over leveled by the time I got to the main bosses, and was under/perfect level for all my optionals
I think i died more times to the first Crucible knight than Radahn, Margit, Morgott and Godrick combined (which TBH I only died to Radahn + I don't even use summon or spirit ashes for main bosses)
That fucking tail spam is so fast that I cant really punish Crucible knight's openings anymore because even the UGS crouch attack is still too slow if Mr. tail spam were to connect his 100mph tail attack
I mean on main boss there are Always other player who left their track to summon , so u Can still call other player but optional boss u are alone with Ur build
@@ChunLo21 I feel you. If you're using a slow weapon there's literally no room to hit that guy. He just keeps doing a new combo right after he finishes one. The only move you can consistently punish is when he does his 2H combo since he takes time to equip his shield again after it.

The Godfrey boss before him on the other hand kicked my ass two ways to sunday.

Shamefully, I’ve died more to the Erdtree Avatar than most bosses. I’m also glad to see someone who understands boss difficulty is subjective.

Funnily enough I beat that one on first try after being confused as hell. Margit got me 3 times, but I did it solo and it felt glorious.

Morgott's attacks are made to be delayed as a way to punish you for panic rolling

fun fact, Gott as in "Morgott" means as much as "God" in german.( Also I think he was relatively easy)
This was the only boss that actually got my heart racing so far and I love him for that
If anyone is having trouble with him. I recommend getting the spirit ash Redmane Knight Ogha. And get him up to +7 he is a tank and a good damage dealer.

My brother just let Blacknife Tiche deal with him while I had....a less fun time. I commited myself to a Strength build on my first playthrough. It was rough since strength based weapons don‘t have it easy in this game. I could basicly just dodge-poke with the guts sword.

I used a +6 demi-humans summon at night and the bloodhound blade at +5. I never got to see his second phase since he died so fast

Delays are fine for me, better than instant damage coming from nowhere and doesn't have any tells.

@@timragen6658 Same face, Same ragged clothing, only boss whooo died with glowing yellow light, has the same stick, burns stick to tell he is not playing anymore, has the same moveset, multiple copies of himself, has another twin who is different in appearance.
Margit also has the same voice actor with Morgott.
Shackles also work to both of them.
Also it will be said in the name if they are twin or a brother, clearly he introduced himself with a fake name since you don't know his true identity which many tarnished in the Lands Between will recognize.

never really liked dark souls games but ive been watching your gameplays and honestly this looks hella fun

Here's a piece of advice I've heard before and also kind of realized I've learned just threw my natural playing of Dark Souls 3 and Elden ring and they don't pay attention to the actual weapon but look at their hands and the second you see their hands start to move fast towards you is often enough times when you're supposed to die because how quickly they move past that point means that if you don't don't answer then, then you're screwed already.
This was so painful to watch, but I'm glad you finished it lol
Pro tip for people new to Elden Ring and other games by FromSoft, find a weapon you like the moveset of, level your stats to meet its minimum requirements, then focus on leveling hp until you reach the softcap. For Elden Ring, this is 40 vigor (1450hp). After that, feel free to focus on damage stats, then miscellaneous stats or more hp (60 vigor gives a max hp total of 1900).
Here's some reasoning: Newer players make more mistakes. More hp = more mistakes without dying = more likely to learn something with each death. On top of this, most weapons do not scale well with stats when low on upgrades, which means it is vital to focus on damage later as it becomes more important with progression.
On a side note, the mimic tear copies your base stats when summoned, which includes hp. If you have more hp, it has more hp and can be a better tank for you. I'm not sure exactly how upgrades work on mimic tear ashes, though. I do know mine is op, however, since it can solo quite a few bosses lol
I beat him first try by I think I got lucky. My winged scythe weapon art staggered him three times during the fight! The figh before this with spirit boy had me tryin 8 times!

nice video :D this boss was alot easier with bloodhound fang +9 i killed him with first try without summons maybe lucky tho, but with that weapons special attack it seemed easy

I felt so overpowered with my twinblade and level 80 or so, that i got to Rennala to respec to have less health. Still feel bad for him
I beat him in 10 seconds with mimic tear and sword of night and flame the night before they got slightly nerfed

it is "fun" that enemies may delay or not their attacks, but you only have delayed rolls... so that if you goes to roll when the attack is coming, you cant roll in time..

Thats funny when i think about it cauz i actually first tried morgot when i got to him xd. I mean i did 70 attempt on margit a the beginning of the game so it helped me a lot with morgot. Just had to figure out the new pattern. Tbh thats my proudest achievement.
This is the reason the devs took another 2 years to release this game. They all had to beat Morgott blindfolded at soul level 1 as a wretch with no armour, no shield or weapon.
tip for you is that think of a boss as a rythmic game not an enemy

I have never seen somebody struggle this much on morgott
I used a great shield with barricade ashes of war, and then used a great spear and just poked Morgot to death from behind my shield. Killed him on my first attempt by just standing infront of him buffing my shield, and poking him to death.

Godricks great rune is better, use that instead. And upgrade your mimic at the spirit tuner.
godrick’s is only active with the rune arc on though
