I love that it's sponsored but he still gives his 100% honest opinion. Corsair seems like they trust you a lot which in my book makes them more trustworthy, I'd love to see more businesses like this!
I just discovered you searching for a opinion on the 4070ti. Very good Videos. I love the energy you put in those. Keep up the good work!
Love your vids dude! Gets me hyped about tech!
Another great video Marcus, really enjoyed it!!!
Waiting for you to make a vid on this! Keep up the work marcus!
I love your kurgsgasakt posters!
I just love ❤️ your content so inspirational 😁
Keep the good up! thank you for sharing this video.
Would love to see a video about your set-up, daily monitor, speaker set, Desktop build, the lamp and light set-up as well as the black acoustic pads on the wall.
Hello Marcus love the video as always! I love your setup and I wish I could have a setup like yours. Maybe someday!
yo yo yo love the vids keep this up man always looking forward to your next vids
Been waiting for this one!
It seems like it’s almost the monitor I’d be looking to get next, but I think I’ll wait for a 2160p version. I’ve currently got a 32” 1440p 240Hz display, which I quite like, but its pixel density is a bit lower than I really want. At the price Corsair are asking, it would need to be 2160p for me, as I would end up keeping it for a long time before my next upgrade. I think I’ll just wait another 2-3 years and do a monitor + GPU upgrade at the same time.
Great video, Marcus! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this interesting monitor.
Good review bud, I’m getting it for gaming only.
My favorite part was Marcus freaking out while playing Apex!
Would you prefer this monitor for gaming or the lg ultragear 4k 48 inch monitor you previously reviewed?
Hey, PC Centric, please do a video on single-PC gaming and streaming setup on a budget. Please, I have some doubts regarding it: which CPU and GPU to go with, and do I really need a video capture card for a long-hour stream (1080p)? Kindly do a video on this.
Using a curved panel is a pain for Photoshop as you always think the horizon isnt straight but the fact that you can flatten it back is a bonus. Personally I think the size and the price is a little on the large size. If you like ultrawides then 34" is the sweetspot and as you say is half the price. Also I would imagine for most users is once you bend it in place your done with it, so resetting it is more of a gimick. Anyway good video all the same.
I like the idea in case it becomes a companion monitor because you can match the curvature of the other monitor. I have a two monitor set up, and each has a different radius of curvature which is slightly awkward. HOWEVER, I can't imagine having a companion monitor to this behemoth...
I have the aw34dw from Alienware. Wanted something larger and was buying a second PC setup for my kids and girlfriend to play with me. I tried the LG 45 ultra gear, lg c3 42 inch and Samsung s90c 55 inch. I kept the LG 45 for the motion and 21:9. I also got it open box for under 1100. You can see a difference side by side with 4k but it's hard on most games. The alienware colors pop a touch more but even side by side I prefer the LG ultragear and playing mw2 at 200 to 250 fps in 21:9 as fast as it is I feel like I'm cheating 😂 when 4k 32 inch to 42 inch qd oled 144 Hz or better comes out I may prefer that more but until then the 45 inch ultrawide is amazing.
It's a great monitor.
Bend it for games you want immersion in, and make it flat for media consumption.
As someone with 20/20 vision, the PPI isn't a concern with the monitor 80cm away.
Does anyone know where he gets his bright colourful desktop wallpapers?? Love them.
Which is the best monitor curved or the normal one?
What’s the length of your desk vertical?
I want big monitor money... good thing I have this channel so I can pretend I do for about 20 mins at a time. Great video!
Great monitor. Runescape 3 would look fantastic on it, but I guess apart from a bendable screen, we might need to bend space time continuum to finally get it benchmarked.
You mean OSRS
@@PcCentric I can run OSRS on a potato. To run the gigachad Runescape 3 on ultra mere mortals might need to run SLI 4090ti with a beefy 13900k on top.
@@PcCentric i think OSRS is well, "OSRS" by itself, Runescape 3 is like a modern-er version of it so its with better graphics than OSRS haha
Have you tested out the 55 Inch Samsung Odyssey ARK 4K?
u prefer alienware 34dw or Samsung neo 4k 240hz 32 inch?
So currently this is the highest res 240hz oled that's panel can be flat?
I'm thinking this might be the way to go with an RTX 4090. I'm not completely sold on 4K yet. I think as games become more taxing a 3440 X 1440 is going to be the better option. Wish they made a 34" version
best rage ever 15:56
What background image is that? Seen it in a few of your videos but can't find any mention of it
My mousemat custom design, merch link should be below :)
Can this monitor be overclocked to 3840x1600?
Cool monitor!
I love how 27" 1440p 120 or 144hz OLED isn't a thing. Cos it would be sort of affordable or perhaps even good value?
they definitely are a thing.
@@minesolo1969 the LG 27GR95QE-B 26.5" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz Monitor is an oled, 999 dollars and its the cheapest one
What specs would I need to play on this monitor??? Hopefully I don’t need a 4090…
Any Idea on when you are gonna cover the 57 inch odyssey g9?
@@user-nr7wr6qf2w no🗿
I’m getting over 300 fps, but I have my monitor and graphics card, matching refresh rate at 270. It never dips below to 270. That’s with everything at max settings 2k.
Can I ask what is your CPM for your channel, dear sir?
whats that low profile corsair keyboard?? i looked through their web site and didnt see that one??
K100 air
Sir, I'm very proud of your journey. So can you tell me which country you're in, what computer programs you've done to get here... Because I'd love to learn computer hardware and start a CZcams channel like that. I'm still going to school. I live in Sri Lanka. So I hope sir will give a good reply to my comment..
OLED is definitely not for me, since I do work with spreadsheets, but I'm curious with one thing. How many games actually support ultra wide resolution? Is it like a common thing? Or will I have to play with black borders on the sides most of the time?
A lot of modern games and a few of the past few years certainly do.
Pixel density is the biggest issue for me with this. 3840x1440 works on a 32-34" display but any bigger and pixels will definitely be noticeable, especially reading text in a browser etc.
Honestly prefer the G9 to this, the 5120x1440p works great in terms of Pixel density and inmersive ultrawide gameplay.
I'd avoid the Flex and go for a G9 or a 34" Alienware myself
I need a monitor just like that but in 27+ inches and not curved.
Did u not see the sharpness setting ? Did u not try it out for us ? 😅
What's the GPU/CPU/FPS overlay he is using?
Nvidia frameview
It is interesting, but seems expensive, as I also have the Alienware 38" 3840 x 1600 - AW3821DW and find its size and resolution are perfect for work and games.
Prices are already dropping. Its recently been on sale 10% off.
@@LittleByrdEee True, but for me £1,899.00 is not a bargain.
How does this compare visually (ex brightness) to the Alienware QD-OLED?
the alienware is superior and brighter and also has better ppi
@@Forthepeople21 Thank you!
Anyone know his wallpaper?
WHAT ABOUT us 4k 200 fps guys seriously hoping for 4k 240 hz tvs soon
this or LG 45?
Interesting, this monitor is about 100 times more expensive than the last monitor I bought.
Firstly, the pricing is for absolute ballers only 💪😉. However …. other than that, the monitor for me personally…… I like the concept, the OLED, but the resolution for this size of monitor is a little low resulting in a lower PPI making the items on screen more pixelated which isn’t for me. I’d prefer a smaller monitor with a high PPI 🤩😱🥰🤤
its missing the top half
it’s all fun and games til you realize you’re not a fan of the curve and just rock with it straight
£1900 means like 2400 bucks in the US, f that noise, my PC was 2100 lol
Love this monitor, however the two major drawback is the price and the 1440p which means it is not a 4k and has a low resolution. Recently I just returned a Samsung oddysey g9 49 inch oled 1440p and keep my old 48 inch LG ultragear 4k oled.
Where did you find it for £1830?
Amazon.
Definately god-like.
Pls upload videos in 60fps
Is it going to be another story for 400 I can’t even blow that
samsung g9 will be beast next month
age of empire finally
Just lost my pc .. Couple of days ago .. Because of some outdated components.. My last exam is on 31st of this month .. I am so sad .. Wish i could have a pc as good as yours .. Feeling low, my pc was the only thing holding me together.. no friends no one .. and i lost my pc too .. Life is hopeless
If it was 7680 by 2160 this might get my dollars
NGL I was gonna buy this untill i saw the PPI
I wouldn't spend £2000 for 1440p
Lol
Lack of vesa mount + no height adjust = absolute deal breaker for me.
With such a resolution, you would rather not use it flat anyway. It's not ergonomic and the colors towards the edges are using no longer accurate when using it flat.
So I'm not understanding the benefit of this feature.
show a movie FFS!
The stand legs are horrible
2700 cad ouch!!
✨Early !!✨
Nonsense product. Great review though Marcus!
Just get both a curved 1440p and standard 1440p monitor
1800 bucks, holy jebus.
Hey,wanna do a video about your "best" mid to high range CPU and GPU combinations?

For the price of this monitor, not having height adjustmant is an absolute joke. lol
Can i have your old monitor lol im broke i know thats not a great excuse but i do love your channel, even tho you will have to upgrade to a new one when this one goes back but it would be like s good samaritan
Can't you figure it out, that if he gave you his monitor, it would be unfair for another 600k of people that are subscribed?
well idk if im first but ill say it anyway
Il give you something that bends
Matte displays are not good. So tired of seeing mattte displays. Glare is by far WORSE on matte displays.
Once I got the alienware oled, it's like a whole new world. I want to take the matte off of my laptop screen as well.
It's odd how they keep on it.
I wish I had the money 🤣🤣🤣
Same 😂😂

Not better than the Dell dwf
Anything that costs over 1k is a gimmick in the monitor space.
Overpriced junk.
Probably one of the worst monitors I have seen in a long time. I can see the flex lasting about 6 months to a year before it breaks. And, for me personally, I HATE OLED! I had a 4k 43" OLED LG tv and the picture quality was dire. So, I took it back to Currys (who know as much about electronics as a 90 year old Granny, (I am sure Marcus would agree with me,)) but they are good about returns, and swapped it for a 32" Toshiba 1080p LED monitor. FAR better picture quality and brightness and being 32 inches a lot less space taken up on my desk. Also, to be honest I do not miss 4k. I find the pixel density on the Toshiba a lot better the the LG. And the Toshiba is 120hz where the LG was only 60hz. SO, sorry this monitor would only appeal to me if was say £150. Then I might.
