After all that snow last year, it convinced you to get a snowblower!!
It won't take long and you'll be very proficient with it...
No more worrying about running out of room to pile the snow!!

Hey Mike stacking and blowing is where that blower really shine especially when the snow berms build up that beast will eat through even hard pack berms. Have a great ☝️

Been doing the same with mine out toward Chena Hot Springs. Aren't you glad you have that cab? On my blower I broke the shear bolt several times while learning. I bought several spares at Lowes and keep them in my cup holder with a couple wrench. Saves having to drive all the way back to the shop.
Great videos. Keep it up. Coffee breaks over. Time to get out and move more snow.

Our snow came and went here in Iowa. Would not hurt my feelings if that is all the snow that we get for the winter. I am not counting on it.

Takes a little time to get the blowers set up right for your conditions. Like plowing, once you get a good base packed it goes smoother. I run an angling plow blade on my loader to wind row the snow then use the blower to blow it off, then quick pass with the blade again and it cleans up the the leftovers you mention because I agree it makes the driveway look messy. Look forward to more videos as you get used to it

I was doing the neighbors driveway with the back blade last night. The tractor is so much more maneuverable than the F250 plow truck. But I need the plow truck to clean up the leftover furrows afterwards. A snowblower would be so much better!

What works for me is I have a tractor with a loader mounted plow and a tractor with a front snowblower. I take the loader and push the snow into piles and the I use the snowblower and blow the snow piles into the woods. I can move alot of snow quick. and the snow just disappears into the woods. I never have to worry about where to pile snow later in the Season.

@@AkDadStuff Blowers have a purpose but they are not the fastest. They do get rid of the snow, Have a good day.

Yesterday the neighbor blew the berm off our non service area road with his skid steer mounted blower. I followed up with my 84" rear blade offset and it made the road look like new. I think you will have to follow up your snowblowing with the pusher or blade and then you will have the results you want. Blower just doesn't leave that finished look.

Yeah I guess it takes time to get use to any new piece of equipment. Your doing fine, you’ll get it dialed in.

Good evening Sir, you will love your snowblower Sir 😇👍👌Practice make perfect Sir 👌😇 You need to use your front snow plow on long strait trail and use your snowblower when it is a very large amount, but will find ways to use both front and back snowplow / blowing Sir Cheers 😇😇👌👌👍👍🍻🍻

It looks like your doing great with your snowblower. I know that you have a gravel drive, and path. You don't have to get it completely down to the ground totally. If it was me I would get a little mirror, and put it somewhere that you'd are able to see okay. Use this when you're backing up. When you have a smaller amount of snow push it into a pile then blow it away. Snowblower are a slower type of use. It is like everything else is practice makes perfect. Can you get it on a pavement ,and checkout what it looks like?

Although I don't have a snow blower for my 2004 New Holland TC29DA 'Boomer' series tractor, I do have a 7' snow plow blade that clamps on the edge of my loader bucket. And I use tire chains on the front as well as the rear to assist in steering while plowing snow.
I looked at your channel and found your cab installation video very cool! I hope something similar will be my next tractor improvement project.
I really love that 'container box and lean to.' Do you have any videos of those projects?

That's a nice snow moving set up you have! Watching your video is didn't look like it was bringing any gravel through the snow blower which is a huge plus. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more snow clearing videos.

Once the ground is hard and you have a good hard pack you adjust the skids on the blower so the cutting edge will scrape on the ground. But you better keep that thing raised up untill you got a good hard pack. Nothing worse then chucking rocks and dirt and bending augers and blowing shear pins.

  • @tractortalkwithgary1271

Looks like she blows pretty well Mike

  • @rockandrattleretreat5830

Question: don't you want to blow the snow to one side which is out of your path of travel, other wise you will have to blow the same snow multiple times?
