Spray paint can shaker quick, easy, and free with any drill.

Use any drill with a spade bit and a couple rubber bands to completely and thoroughly mix spray paint cans.
Having them well mixed means a better quality paint job, and prevents plugged spray can nozzles.

Brilliant! Can't use the jig-saw piece but the drill shaker bit seems like a perfect answer to shaking the cans.

Use an orbital sander, strap the paint can to the bottom with two elastic bands and it shakes the can much better than this. If you have a vice, you can put the handle of the sander in the vice, switch it on and walk away for a few minutes.
