    A cool thing about Plasticity is that you can set the grid so it matches your buildplate I set the plate to 256 so it fits my bambu printer =)
    Another nice thing is that you can save your files and drag and drop them into another project you are doing. For example: If you build a phone holder you can first model your phone and then save it to a folder for files that you frequently use. Then you can just drag and drop the phone into the document that you are using and just model the phone holder around the phone. So if you feel after a week that you want to build a new phone holder you just have to drag the old phone into a new document and start designing, instead of having to remodel the phone and waste time there=)
    Or if you are modeling a house and you can save all the windows, doors etc in a folder that just can drag and drop into the model you are building instead of having to remodel the parts that you are always using. So basicly make a part one time and use it in all future prodjects =)
    (I save all my parts and 3d documents in a google drive folder so It syncs with the cloud)

      Hey thanks for the feedback and info. Love the grid they use and that export looks great. I'm still on the fence over a few issues. Not able to export my STL files into a slicer really holds me back. I wanted to feel 100% before spending my money.
      🤠

    Normally the STL export should work on the free trial, but the precision is limited... Please file a bug if the printer rejected it.

      @SirTools  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Now that's what worries me. Because it is just the trial version, I'm not clear on why or should the STL file be corrupted, or after buying into this and find out there is a problem ? mm...Nick...you got the clear picture here.

      Hi Karl, me 2. Some time in the future I'd like to do a full show CAD drawing to 3d print etc and look at all the aspects of Plasticity.

      @@SirTools hey sound good would love to do a show with you on that. I been looking around but I have not seen anyone do that.

      There you go ! Might end up with more questions than answers LOLOL...But, we could look at the quality of the printed part, the STL file, the gcode etc and just ..oh..heck, maybe even compare to Fusion 360 for the same part...mm...Might be a cool show !

    I don't see a refund if you don't want it :(

      I mentioned that trial thing, but it limits you and does hold up my feelings over "buy it" or not for now.

    I wish more software would take the Lightburn approach and say, here it is, use it for 30 days and then buy if you want. Limiting features limits final users :(

    • @SirTools
      @SirTools  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, it really holds up my wanting to buy it.

      I was able to export an .stl from the trial version without any apparent limitation on size or quality etc.

    • @SirTools
      @SirTools  Před měsícem

      Was that the newer version ? Mine only allowed the export once and the quality was "junk" and even my slicer programs stopped and said errors mmmm

    So no one gets hurt by plascity…UNLESS, you lisp!🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😎🤣
    Agree 100%! It’s like a car dealership telling you that you can take a car for a test drive, you just can’t start the car or leave the lot! 🤪😡😎
    I’m “testing” it because I MIGHT buy what you’re selling….but not if you will not allow me to fully experience its capabilities. I never bought a mail order bride either! 🫢😉😎🤣
    But….for 149….if I am offered a no hassle 100% refund within…10 days? 72 hours? 30 days? Well now we can talk.
    I might even try this! Heck, it’s about time i learned SOME kinda cad program for my still in the box 3D printer!!😎 yeah…now’s the time!!👍🏻 over and OUT!!

      You get the picture ! They say once you buy it...mmmm...Not happy with that part of the deal, so I'm not handing them my money just yet.
