Got one of these, pretty impressive for the money. The downside is that if you're doing very then metal, it can be hard at the lowest amperage. TIG goes down to 30 and that's more than I'd like for thin sheet metal. I'm trying to add on a pulse TIG option using an Arduino board. I'm not 100% sure where to add it in and I don't want to ruin the machine. The other thing I want to add on is a HF start for the TIG. Lift TIG is ruining the tip and I have to have a lot of ready to go tips cleaned up. HF seems to be something that can be added on like a spark plug coil. It would be cool to have these add ons where you can just buy and install. The Fluxcore part works great. So handy to have around.

Another jack stand, # 56373 that was meant to replace the initial recalled 3 ton stands, was recalled in July 2020 due to a welding defect 😬 The information for the July 2020 recall doesn't seem to be as prevalent in google search results as the initial May 2020 recall.

When you say super grounding for a metal building, what exactly do you mean? I was just going to add a standard 8ft grounding rod to the sub-panel outside, with a 4-wire feeder from the house. Isn't that good enough?

You’ll also have the tablesaw fence brakes…my mother has gone home so things here are settling down. I’m still working on my radio set up and getting my ham radio license. Bought a vevor portable welding table and what a nightmare!! It’s still not working! Missing parts, wrong parts, horrible…absolutely and throughly horrible directions… so I’ve been dealing with that and vevor. But I’m on the fence brake…it needs some tweaking so I’m trying to represent the issue correctly. Great episode!! Over and out!

Grabbing up a couple of these bad boys!!! The biggest plus for me…going fishing at night…this provides both insect protection AND, low intensity lighting! Portable convenience is huge! Great tool!!

I've been watching videos about a few of these recently - I'd love one but as these probably won;t go through a 2" x 4" I'll be better off with a normal track saw. Having said that this is the first - only - one I've seen with that side handle.

The vevor power bank you have is rated to take up to 120 Watt solar panel. You are risking damage to the power bank using those higher solar panels.

It’s nice to see that you can make what you need. Here is a question from an old, cheap guy… I’m sorry, a mature frugal individual. I’ve watched your videos for a long time. I don’t know what I would do with either, but is there anything that you would recommend for a laser engraver/cutter or a 3D printer for around $250? I have no projects in mind but feel like I’d like to expand my maker skills. Being retired with lots of free time, in fact, more time than money 😀, means that I’m looking for those creative outlets. Can the Vevor resaw wood though? It seems you would only really be buying a 14 inch bandsaw if you planned on resawing wood. Like how would it do with a piece of 6 inch red oak stock?

I'd buy this if they made a smaller 10 gallon version. The smallest they make is 15.
