Trudeau's outrageous, out of control spending is the problem. Spending more is just the opposite of what he should be doing. Just terrible job he has done with no understanding of finances whatsoever.

- $48 Billion spent on interest payments on $1.22 TRILLION of debt
- Money printing by the Bank of Canada , to buy federal bonds , to pay for the budget deficit
- more money for Ukraine
- Liberal accounting

Nothing will move unless housing market collapses or starts seeing 20-30% decline in prices. At this point, folks have given up on this Govt and they want it gone.
In that case LOTS of homeowners will see their equity completely wiped out and will end up owing the bank more than their house is worth.
@@asmith8947that is already happening and it also happened when Trudeau Sr. was PM...those who didn't lose their homes had to renew at 18 to 21% interest...in BC interior you could buy a mansion for whatever the bank was owed...my friend bought a 5 bedroom architecturaly design house for 130,000.00.

Canadians think running a government also feel inflation. Voters screaming foul, but not prepared to give up federal programs they use. Then, a million government employees looking for increase in wages. Suppliers clammering for material cost increases.
Running government does cause inflation. If you compare the cost for the government to do something vs private industry the cost for government to do it can be up to twice as much. That is inflationary.
Most gov't employees got a whopping 1.3% pay increase, didn't even come close to inflation.

Anyone who uses RRSP money for a down payment must replace it in 4 years. Do a calculation and anyone using RRSP is only screwing themself.

Hopefully voters finally realize that spending comes at a price. The government has no money of its own. It has our money, and all this spending means it needs more of our money.

MMT states that a government can never default on its debts. The only constraint on government borrowing under MMT is the effect on price inflation.
Changes have to be made. When a PM like Trudeau screws up everything he comes in contact with we should be able to do something about it.

David Dodge, the retired Governor of the Bank Of Canada, has called this budget the worst he's seen in decades. Seeing as Mr. Dodge is both informed and unbiased lends me to believe him over all the other so called experts that are paraded out.
Going from 25 to 30 yrs on your mortgage isn’t going to help. Trudeau and Freeland let too many into Canada before we had the housing and other services to support them.

If the govt were even remotely fiscally responsible, Canada would have very little need for a national school food program as families could afford the necessities of life for themselves which is actually the way any proud Canadian wants it so as to feel successful at life. Think about that fact when thinking about the overall state of mental health in this country right now. Taking so much of our money in taxes and blatant corporatism is what is creating the need for all of these social program "solutions". This is, in effect, the slow and stealthy slide into authoritarianism.

when hard earn tax payers money use for vote bank ,that's why this kind of economic challenges comes. in order to come out from this situation new govt has only two options , strict steps and tax increase, which is going to increase more burden on real tax payers , and they are not going to like new govt strict steps. its kind of virtuous circle. political parties only worried about power, position and money not for the country and tax payers.
