    - $48 Billion spent on interest payments on $1.22 TRILLION of debt
    - Money printing by the Bank of Canada , to buy federal bonds , to pay for the budget deficit
    - more money for Ukraine

      Running government does cause inflation. If you compare the cost for the government to do something vs private industry the cost for government to do it can be up to twice as much. That is inflationary.

    If the govt were even remotely fiscally responsible, Canada would have very little need for a national school food program as families could afford the necessities of life for themselves which is actually the way any proud Canadian wants it so as to feel successful at life. Think about that fact when thinking about the overall state of mental health in this country right now. Taking so much of our money in taxes and blatant corporatism is what is creating the need for all of these social program "solutions". This is, in effect, the slow and stealthy slide into authoritarianism.
