Great video! A cool and easy way to replace the oil pressure sensor. I recently changed on my н3 3.7 - I did it from above, removed the air filter box. Your way is much faster and easier. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

So that’s a common issue on the H3’s mine is an 2006 as well
Two questions. One, did you drain the oil first? Two, is the only thing you did to get to it was take the tire off?
No need to drain the oil. And yes, I took the passenger front tire off and that’s about it and it’s right in front of you.
You changed it because the oil light came on? I’m assuming your oil is full, but light came on. Did it stay on or go on and go off again?
This fix my issue and you are correct but I’ve also heard that it could be the oil pump and not the oil pressure switch causing low oil pressure
If this was about the issue where light comes on at low idle…Was all over the Hummer forums a lot of people that still have the issue after replacing sensor find that replacing the wiring harness for the sensor sometimes fixes it..

That’s right.
I’ve tried from top side and bottom behind tire to get it to break loose and it won’t break loose what can I do now? It’s the original sensor from 2007
